We put these under our washer/dryer in a travel trailer to reduce the shaking of the whole rig during the spin cycle. It wasn't going to be easy to install them, in a small space, under a heavy appliance. But the design DID make it easier because we only had to get "close" to the center of the appliance feet. But we keep asking ourselves on laundry day - is it better? I think it is, hard to tell.

The media could not be loaded. Before we bought these pads the WHOLE unit would shake when in the spin cycle. Now it’s super quiet and I love them! Yes, I still have to MacGyver it a bit, that happens when you live in a house from 1922!

I replaced my 20+ year old washer and dryer with new LG think models from a home improvement store. I installed the machines and made sure that they were level and all feet were touching the floor. I then proceeded to do my first wash and during the spin cycle, at medium, our floors vibrated so much that I was concerned about damage to it. Then our neighbors below us texted that the vibration was so bad that their light fixtures were flickering. I was concerned that I made a bad purchase with front load machines. Not waiting to get rid of new machines or tearing up the floor for more reinforcement, I found these pads and decided to give them a try. And boy what a difference they made! The vibration went down like 75% and my neighbors replied saying that all was like before, vibration but not structure-damaging shaking. Whew! The only thing that I didn’t like was that my already tall machines grew another two inches. But that’s a small price to pay for peace of mind!

Pretty much one size fits all. Easy to install. Washer and dryer do not slip with these. These feet keep the washer and dryer a few inches off the floor which is great when water find it’s way into the basement after rain or melting snow.
