Took a chance on spending $50 vs the many choices for much less. Our new whirlpool front load washer with pedestal had been a nightmare! It literally moved across the floor due to unreal vibrations. The noise was terrible. The laundry room vinyl floor is 13yrs old, never had an issue with top load washer prior to this. I was told I loaded it wrong. We finally found instructions to remove the storage drawer and by tipping it from one side to the other, set the pads in place ( first confirming the machine was level), Result: no moving on the floor, significantly less noise. Never any issues with the dryer (side by side) and the height difference does not warrant a set for it. My reason for buying front load was water and electricity savings. If not for that, I prefer my old top leader washer. I recommend this product...as for smell, no smell noted. ... show more

I wish I’d known about these when I had my old washing machine. I just remodeled my closet into a laundry room next door to all of the upstairs bedrooms so I was a little worried about machine noises. These pads have been a great addition to the install—easy to install, provide stability and reduce noice as promised. These really work!! Our washing machine has not "walked" or vibrated out of place since installing them. It is placed a raised tiled surface, and even though well leveled, moved a lot and was super noisy during spinning. These pads completely solved the problem! It seems they improved over the first two weeks of use, so as to "seat in." Totally thrilled with the outcome. ... show more

    • Did help with vibration, a bit
During a recent renovation, we stacked our front loading washer and dryer. After the stacking, we ended up with a tremendous amount of vibration when the washer enters the final high speed spin cycle, to the point the floors shook. We looked at the various pads and feet on the market that claimed to help minimize vibrations. I choose these because the material appeared sturdy and they looked easier to install than a pad under the whole machine, and a pad might block the overflow drain. They arrived quickly, and were exactly as advertised. The material feels solid enough that they should hold up. We had a bit if a challenge installing them, since it requires lifting each corner, and it is hard to slide the machine once they are underneath, but I read a trick on line to spray some window cleaner on the floor where we wanted them to slide and we were able to get them all in place and slide the machine back in. the result? Much less vibration. There is still some, but they did improve the situation at a reasonable cost. ... show more

These things are amazing. Not all vibrations pads are made equal and these proved that. Have a washer/dryer combo that once fully loaded it would cause a lot of vibrations. I purchased anti vibration pads from a big box chain and it felt like they didn't do anything so I bought these and they are amazing. Got rid of all my vibration issues. ... show more
