At first, I wasn't too sure about this. Just smelling it inside the bottle, Anthony Invigorating wash has a very strong sent of Pine, almost like evergreen scent. Then when applying it has a very pleasant wood smell that lasts for at least 6 hours. Easy to lather and get foamy by just using a small handful you can clean your whole body (and head as well). Then the more I used it the more I liked it, especially around those winter months. This is the strongest smelling shampoo or body wash I have used. Be warned though, you'll smell like you've been lost in a pine/evergreen forest and all you did during that time is roll around in the pine needles. So on my buy, borrow, or bury rating scale, this is a buy, with a caveat. This is by far the strongest smelling shampoo or body wash I have tried. So why the 4 stars and the caveat then? If you are planning on pasting those fake pictures of your camping trip, grab yourself some Anthony Invigorating wash, this'll make that ruse seem so much more authentic. This is probably what Father Christmas or Yukon Cornelius smell like. With most body washes, I'll do the apply, rinse, and repeat. With Anthony Invigorating wash, you just need to apply and rinse. I go swimming multiple times a week and this can cover that smell of the chlorine in one application. Me just opening up the bottle will make just any body smell better. Edit: I've noted that people said that the scent has changed since I've posted this and I'll look into it. I've gotten request from people to review other Anthony's products. BB OrB ... show more

Wrote to Customer Service and never received a reply. Posted a photo with a review here on Amazon and it was rejected - even though it did not violate any policy. So we're back to say we will never buy an Anthony product again. :) The product arrived not as advertised and it did not smell like this particular Anthony Hair and Body wash usually does. ... show more

Smells great, Cleans well. But I was disappointed when I opened the package to find that 1/3 of the bottle was spilled into the wrapper and all over the bottle itself. The push down cap was open when shipped. So unfortunately feel a little ripped off for the price. Whoever packaged it didn’t care too much and just threw it in open now I have a great smelling mess on my hands and bottle. Unhappy with this ... show more

Great find and product. A tad bit pricey personal opinion but, with chronic minor skin bumps and a naturally oily skin. This product has rocked it. No drying out, actually doesn’t cause additional ingrowns on thighs or back as I sweat a lot for work and gym. So currently on the second round and I am trying out their kelp scrub (blue) and so far I’m very pleased. Still bit costly so not sure I’ll use permanent but likely rotate out and in with another brand I like to help reduce cost for the size of bottle. Overall great product so far. ... show more

My wife said it smells like Christmas. I'm not sure why. It does have a good smell to it. I like using this with a bath sponge. I don't use it every day but if you use this definitely get a sponge to go with it. This will leave you feeling clean and it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry like some bars of soaps. This is strictly body wash for me. I don't use it for my hair. I gave it 4 stars because it's not like the all wonderful GOT TO HAVE IT there is nothing out there that is better body soap. Don't know what happnend to this product. I have being using it for last 2 years and was always happy. The last shipment I got has a different cap and smell is totally different and very unplesant. don't know if they changed the formula or just a defective batch. Love the smell of this and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling itchy after a shower like many products do. I would recommend this. There are cheaper body washes available, but I love this one.
