The combs for the cables come separate from the sleeved cables and take a bit of effort to put on, which is good for making sure they don't slip or fall off. I made the mistake of trying to put them on after I installed the cables, and then "rode the struggle bus" trying to put the combs on without disturbing the routing of the cables. From this experience, I highly recommend putting the combs on before routing and connecting, then slowly and carefully sliding the combs to their desired final positions after installation. So.. first and I guess last time buying custom cables. They're nice. They look nice. They're 16 gauge so that's good. Except the part where my 24-pin was broken. Look at that picture. Does that look right to you? The bottom-left pin is completely bent and broken. I got these cables and was excited to put them in my new build. I sat there for literally two hours trying to figure out why I couldn't get the 24-pin to connect all the way to my motherboard. I tried fiddling with it to no avail. My fingers became raw from the amount of pressing that plastic and trying to force it down. I finally got fed up and pulled it out to look at it and compare it to my PSU 24-pin. Hey look at that! A broken pin! Awesome! I dock major points for this. I don't care how good your quality is, if the thing you only provide one of is broken, what am I going to do, issue a refund and wait for a 30$ item to get replaced? The time that was wasted is worth more than that. The frustration that overcame me is worth 10 times that. I hate it. I hate that I didn't look at it first before trying. I figured that this literally could never be an issue, honestly. Turns out I'm big wrong. I would love to say I had a good experience with these like every single other review. Nope. Big fat nope. Edit; after contacting Amazon support and then the seller they decided to issue me a refund for the order entirely- without having to send the parts back. I'll be reordering them and hope this time no more bent 24-pin, but still anyone should be aware of broken pins. These are very good quality cables but the plastic forms for the plugs was not as precise as I would hope. I had to use a razor blade to separate a few pins that should have been separated but were not. A thin bridge of plastic made by a possibly overused form requires a little surgery for my use.     • Latch on 24 pin port too short, could not reach catch on port.

The 24 pin cable's latch was too short to secure on to the catch on the motherboard port and would fall out easily. Motherboard is a MSI edge z690 DDR5. Cables are a little stiff but worked them into position without too much trouble.

Well packaged, really obviously high quality cables and braiding, colors were vivid as advertised. Full marks for quality and materials. 5/5 Howeverโ€ฆ I donโ€™t know who decided that the braiding needed to be an anti-personnel weapon and stiffer than carbon fiber, but holy catfish. The combs are not preinstalled, and the texture of the braiding is both stiff and almost tacky, so it almost required the use of pliers to get the combs attached at all, and you can absolutely FORGET about moving them once theyโ€™re on. Get it right the first time. I finally gave up after 1.5 combs and packed them back away because my fingers were starting to hurt so bad. In 30 years of IT work I have never encountered a small part quite so aggressively painful outside of a sharp server rack. Great product if you have Herculean finger strength and wear gloves. ... show more

These are well worth the money but they are very stiff and only come with 2 8pin pcie power connectors sadly so if your crazy enough to buy a 3080ti at this time like myself then your SOL. I guess im going to end up just buying another kit unless I can find just one sleeved 8pin. As you can see they look very nice I could have spent more time and got them shaped a little better but this was just a pic after i slapped it all in just to get it up and running to test this 3080ti. I didnt have any isssues with length they seem to be plenty long enough the only ones I didnt use are the actual power connectors for the top left of the motherboard they were just too stiff to get them to fit up in there. ... show more
