This is a great unit so far. Makes ice about every 15 minutes. I check it ever couple of hours and fill 10 pound bags. Provides me enough ice for fishing the following day.

    • Leaking upon arrival
Item was packaged well and seemed in good condition upon arrival. After installation, we realized it was leaking out the bottom. The water was leaking out through the drainage tube, but it seemed like something that could be fixed instead of going through the hassle of returning. My husband took the back off the ice maker and caulked around the tube that was leaking. This fixed the issue. ... show more

Awesome unit. Instructions are poor regarding timing functions. Works best is you can utilize drain and drain hose. Main body is not refrigerated (auto refrigerated from ice above) so bottom ice melts and is replaced automatically from above.

We keep an "Orca Cooler" full of drinks and ice outside as long as the weather allows it. We tried another brand and it did not live up to the billing. I thought of just buying ice again but did more research and found this ice maker. I says it produces as much ice as the last ice maker, however this unit really lives up to its promise. Our cooler stays full of ice for the drinks and I am extremely happy with the ice production. The unit is quiet, very easy to set up and use and is a great value for the money. It worked great for the first couple of months but after 5 months the motor that runs the water over the ice molds will not work.

    • Only made about 20 bags of ice.
Made about 20 bags full of ice and now it is getting a E2 fault and not making ice. Trying to figure out what to do now because it says not eligible for return. Dealing with Amazon's support right now but it hasn't been any help.
