Made about 20 bags full of ice and now it is getting a E2 fault and not making ice. Trying to figure out what to do now because it says not eligible for return. Dealing with Amazon's support right now but it hasn't been any help.

I was angry when I purchased this ice machine, I had purchased another one from home depot the day before for $100 more ..i hadn't thought to shop Amazon for an ice maker..anyway this one works perfectly..only issue i have with it is when it dumps ice into its bucket, the noise is terrifying π³ my first thought was i may have been shot..if you can put it out in a garage or somewhere away from where you are relaxing..it's perfect π

You need to adjust the settings to compensate for ambient temperature to get the ice to produce without creating the e2 error code. I almost smashed this thing with a sledgehammer and then ran across a video explaining this quirk. I was triggering an error at 50-60 Fahrenheit at zero default icemanking setting. I moved down to negative 4 and filled up the bin in 6 hours.

Awesome unit. Instructions are poor regarding timing functions. Works best is you can utilize drain and drain hose. Main body is not refrigerated (auto refrigerated from ice above) so bottom ice melts and is replaced automatically from above.

Very simple to set up, and is true to it's 100 lbs. rating. I installed this unit in our garage running from an outdoor hose bib. Easy push-to-connect fillings. Unit DOES require drainage and is gravity fed - use some risers when setting the machine (cinder blocks for our application). Installed an in-line Waterdrop filter, making all runoff/drainage potable water that is captured in a 5gal bucket. You can recirculate the captured water back to the machine using the provided water bottle hose to eliminate waste. Once your drain water has been depleted, simply turn on your tap again to repeat the process. We found that our ideal size setting is about -2 minutes, but that may adjust as we head into the warmer months of summer. Family of six, and we have plenty of ice for two days after running the machine for about five hours. This will be a game changer when we need to produce ice quickly for our Florida hurricanes. Highly recommend!

I donβt like the ice maker. It rotates and makes ice then turns around runs water in the machine and melts the ice.. I can not get it to make ice consistently to fill the bin, not even fill the bottom..π
