This was exactly what I was looking for! It’s the perfect color without washing me out (usually light browns are too warm for me). The fabric is very cool and perfect for warm weather. It did need some steaming to release the wrinkles when it first arrived. I am 5’5” and 142 lbs, 9 months postpartum with my 3rd baby, and a small fit perfectly. I only wish that it was little less high waisted because it comes so high up on me, but that’s probably because I have such a short torso. If I pull the pants to where I want them to sit, the crotch is a little too baggy. I think the waistband would have bugged me if I was earlier postpartum but it’s tolerable now. If it’s going to be this high waisted, I would prefer a thicker smocked waist. Again, probably just a me problem. The top is also the perfect length and I’m honestly considering buying additional sets in other colors just for the top so I can wear it with jeans or shorts in the summer. Edit: Removed 1 star because the fabric wrinkles if you looks at it wrong. Seriously. Get dressed and then don’t sit down or touch anything.

I ordered the rust color and love it. The outfit can be dressed up or down. The sizing is accurate. I’m 5’4” 190 lbs and ordered XL. Warning- I did wash it on gentle cold and it shrunk. Sniff.

Buy it! This is an item that stands out to me - it’s tough to find quality clothing on Amazon, it’s always a risk. This exceeded my expectations, I think it’s worth the price (but it’s on sale right now, go buy!) It’s an Amazon 5 stars because it deserves to stand out among the sea of cheap & poorly-made clothing, but in reality more like 4 stars. NOTE: the tag does say dry-clean only (which I didn’t notice until after multiple washes, lol). I saw people talked about shrinkage, but simply wash in nothing hotter than lukewarm water, and hang dry ONLY, and you won’t have a problem. So far, I don’t have any shrinkage issues. Likes - fits & hangs very nicely. I have a very large bust (32J), so it’s difficult for me to find fitted tops that work for me, and even more unusual to find a top/pant set that both fit. Wide hips also mean sometimes loose/flowy pants don’t hang right on my frame. It’s a unicorn, honestly. - the material feels nice, like a nice textured linen. It doesn’t feel cheap.l and is comfortable to wear. - the stitching is holding up so far, no loose threads. - the versatility - I wear the pants with other shirts and vice versa, or even mix/match colors of different sets. - the waistband looks fitted in the front, which makes it look more expensive in my opinion. - the buttons down the back - they’re not functional, so there’s no pulling apart at the closures when you move. They also look nice. Dislikes: - I just listed this in the likes, but - I wish the fitted portion in the front waistline were just a little shorter (meaning I wish the elastic portion of the waist were longer), or even that there could be a button, though I acknowledge that would probably mean raising the price. I have wide hips and would probably fit better into a medium, but I can barley get the large over my hips. That said, this is probably just fine for many other body types. - speaking of a medium potentially fitting better, it would be great to have the option to mix and match sizes for those of us whose body types necessitate it. For me, a large top and medium bottom would probably fit best (I would try to squeeze it over my hips if I had the option). All that said - I bought it in black, wore it & loved it, and bought khaki. Same quality, same feel of material. I was debating buying another, then saw they’re on sale so I just bought the brick red and the gray-green. I’ll update this review when I get them to talk about the consistency between colors.

When I initially tried this on it fit loose which I expected based on reviews I read. I ordered a medium. I’m 5’4 120lb. I got medium bc I wanted it to fit a little looser and thought the material may shrink a little in the wash. (This picture is after I washed it.) Well I washed this on a quick wash cool cycle and dried on low heat for a short amount of time and it shrunk more than I expected, at least 3-4”! So the shirt which fit ok before is a little shorter now than I would prefer. The pants fit snugger and aren’t as loose in the waist now, which the fit is good but the length is 3-4” shorter! I feel like it still looks ok because they are supposed to be a capri style. But I was disappointed with just how much the outfit actually shrunk. It went from a medium to a small for sure! Size up. I got another color also and did not wash it and I returned it.

This 2 piece outfit is perfect. It's comfortable, lightweight, and the color is beautiful. I'm 5'3 and 128 lbs. I was worried the cropped top wouldn't fit well or show too much. However, since the bottoms have a higher waist, the top fit perfectly. I received many compliments when wearing it to a baby shower. I'm probably going to order it in a different color. Don't hesitate, just order it.

I was very surprised by this set. I really had zero expectations, but it really looks like a higher-end outfit. It is well made with good material (not see-through) and can be dressed up or down. My one complaint is that the top runs a tad small. I personally would like it a bit bigger through the bust and a little longer (so no stomach is showing), but that is my personal preference and would probably be fine for others.
