For reference, I'm 5'5", 165 lbs, and I'm between a Medium and a Large. I ordered this set in three colors: orange and green in Medium, and khaki in Large. Amazon recommended a Medium, so I wanted to compare the fit. The material is very soft, comfortable, and stretchy. It is a knit fabric that is not see-through, which I really appreciate. Visually, there isn't a huge difference between the Medium and Large, but the Large felt much more comfortable because it wasn't as tight. I liked the way the fabric laid around my waist, and the asymmetrical front detail was more noticeable. The Mediums were a little snug, and I noticed the fabric near the side slit would sometimes flip up in the back. The halter top does not have elastic in the front, but I didn't feel like it would fall down. The elastic is actually in the back of the top. One thing to be aware of is that because the skirt is very short, I noticed it sometimes rides up while walking. I love all three colors and think this is a cute option for hot summer days or vacation. I'm still deciding which size to keep, but I included pictures of all three colors to help with comparison. ... show more

I bought this for a halloween costume. I def did not have the body build to make this look good. Maybe i should have gotten a smaller size, not sure. But material was comfy, the skirt was kind of long, and the top wasn't as snug as i wished. the top also had an awkward design with the point in the front, meant for more curvy built bodies.
