When this sweater first arrived I was totally surprised. While I wouldn’t have purchased it if the description & photo hadn’t appealed to me, reality and expectations aren’t always the same. In this case reality far exceeded! This sweater is substantial but not bulky. It has a soft drapey feel due to its viscose/nylon fabrication. The sleeves are nicely finished so they can be “jugged up”, folded, or just left down. I like the oversized look and typically wear a L or XL, so I got an XL & it’s just right. I would never wear this sweater as a dress, but then I’m a 60’s girl so I’m long past those days. If I wasn’t, & felt the look was right for me, I would! I have several sweaters by another manufacturer (not FP) that look very similar to this one but are a cashmere blend, and even given the difference in fabric, I now have a difficult time justifying its almost $200 price tag when this sweater is available. The palette of colors is dizzying, so one could never run out of ideas. As far as washing, I would never put a sweater in the machine; only hand wash in cold water & either lay out or hang (depends on circumstances) to dry. This really is an exquisite sweater, & offered at such a bargain price, one can hardly go wrong in trying it out. Maybe you’ll be as surprised as I was! Update - I have received 2 more of these sweaters since the first one; apricot & black. They are every bit as beautiful as the first one. Apricot is really an ecru which is what I wanted, and black is, well it’s black. They measure & fit just right, & no issues with torn seams, loose threads, bad odors, or any other plagues. Granted I have yet to wash them, & I expect doing so will be the true test of their potential longevity. That said, at least I haven’t paid $200/each for them! Nevertheless I really love them and would like to enjoy wearing them for a good long while so I might just break down and use the dry cleaners. I’ll have to see how brave I’m feeling when the time comes.

The sweater is a very good look a like for “ free people “. Fabric is softer.. not as tight woven as the free people. But, holds shape keeps you warm. Good length and the collar is not as wide as the original free people.. and that is a good thing for better fit. 5,5” 140 lbs perfect fit.

I purchased one sweater from this store and loved the quality and sizing so this is now probably my 5th. Thick and soft material. I actually downsized which surprised me because I’m 5’7 160lbs with a long torso and 90% of their sweaters are too big/long as a large which is great. I’ve washed and dried on delicate two so far and they had some shrinkage but because they started long they’re totally fine. This one in particular seems to catch on things more, I’m really not sure why so it has a couple of pulls already.

The sweater is nice, thick, super soft material. Fits great. However it ripped completely up the side the second time I wore it. It’s on the seam so I can have it repaired but for the price I’m disappointed

Love the neckline, but it runs big. Order a size down. This sweater can be dressed up or down.

I wanted to love this sweater because the colors are great and I love a good long sweater. However, the cut is a little off I thought. Huge in the body but not quite long enough. The sleeves are really long which is OK with me but the sleeves are also a little snug which is odd considering the body is so oversized. I think the biggest issue I have is that the neck is too wide. It is almost a turtleneck but a baggy one. It just hangs too wide at the neck and looks odd. Like I said, I really wanted to love it but the shape is just a little off. That said, the weight is nice and the quality seems ok. I do love the colors it comes in and would have bought more if the cut were different. For reference, I'm 5'3 and usually wear a small which is what I purchased in this top.
