The case is great ! It is an Otterbox clone . It’s just as good as the Otterbox I took off my phone when it broke from abuse . I dropped it off a second story balcony onto concrete and it held up great !

Bought this because my bf kept dropping his phone on the ground... He likes the look of otterbox phone cases but he also wanted a phone case that allows you to see the Apple symbol. So this works great! It feel just as durable but still gives him the aesthetic he wanted. Only thing is is that the charger cover doesnt stay shut it just hangs there.

I purchased the iphone 14 "rose/light green" (hole in the back) which is actually a GORGEOUS hot pink and cyan color combination. I have been an otterbox user for decades but HATE the color options available so I spent days looking for a case that provided otterbox level of protection but was also beautiful. When I found this one I asked a customer if it was magsafe and was told yes. Since I LOVED the color, the sturdiness and you cannot beat the price, I ordered it. Unfortunately it is not a magsafe case. Magnet accessories or even just a mag charger, does NOT stick, they fall off but because I liked everything else so well I decided to make it magsafe so I bought a halolock sticker.....Since it advertises it is wireless charging compatible I decided to try it out before the halolock sticker arrived. I began strapping a qi wireless battery to the back of it so it would be portable and not be attached to a charger but much to my dismay, it not only drained my portable battery super quick (compared to my iphone 11) but my phone wasn't getting charged all of the way. Thankfully I checked my charging history only to find in my alerts that it stopped charging because it overheated! This happened EVERY time I would use the qi charging with this case attached so while warmth is an obvious expectation, OVERHEATING is not and may damage the life of the device over time. In favor of protecting my new phone with a much different scenario than I originally intended when I purchased this case, I reluctantly decided to return it and the unopened halolock sticker. I rarely leave reviews but felt the advertised qi charging capability is false advertising considering it will not allow a full charge to occur and would damage the life of my device with time. If you're not interested in mag accessories or wireless charging then this case might be for you? I didn't drop my phone to know how protective it is but it's made like an old school otterbox that locks a plastic ring around the phone and then the outer rubber securely connects. However, as I was packaging it up to send back I noticed BLACK discoloration along the edges where the buttons are and on the back despite minimal, in house use of my phone (not outdoors). I tried cleaning it with a Lysol wipe but it would not come off so while it started off as the case of my dreams, it revealed itself to be a filthy annymall :P Back to researching case options that will both protect and allow FULL functionality of the phone.
