I got these to install on my fishing kayak about 3 years ago, and they are still going strong! Install was a bit scary at first since your cutting into your nice new kayak, but take your time and plan your cuts and it will go fine. I undercut the hole and sanded to make it perfect, but also reccomend adding some sealant to the screw holes. Overall im very happy with the purchase especially given the price. ... show more

I don't know if there's a ton of brands of these. But these worked very well. Had to purchase a hole saw that size. Once you trust your guts on a brand new expensive kayak and drill your hole it's well worth it. Get over the 😨 drill the 🕳️ nothing better than dry car keys phone and anything else important ... show more

We have Lifetime Spitfire 10' Kayaks. The hole pattern on the lid is bigger than the hole in the Kayak. You have to be super careful when drilling the holes or you'll miss the Kayak completely. I used a spring loaded center punch to locate the holes.
