Kayak hatch doors used on travel trailer to replace original equipment. My Outdoors RV has two Kayak doors on side of trailer to access the grey and black tank valve handles. This eliminates the need to get on your knees and look up under to find the dump valves. I bought these to replace OEM part as latches were cheap and broke. The hole pattern is exactly the same. I just removed the bags and installed in old holes. The latches on these are much more robust than the original broken latches. OEM hatch doors were $60 at the dealer for a pair, so these are about 1/3rd of the price and in my opinion better construction. 5 minute fix and saved a service call and almost 40 on parts. Very Nice!

I was shocked because of the price. I expected semi great hatches, but instead I received two good quality hatches. Well made for the price. They Even came with SS hardware to install. I used the foam sealing gasket for the template to cut my holes and installation was a snap. These hatches are for flat areas, installing on a curved surface will hence the door operation. The hatch seems to be airtight so far, but I would not call the interior bag waterproof. It’s a good quality bag, but stitching says it’s not waterproof. Expected, just put your stuff in a zip lock bag if it can’t get wet. The bags keep my gear inside within reach, the interior bags can be removed for cleaning. Great buy!

The lock seems good and easy install. The gasket between the lid and the frame pulled out and stretched so I had to play with that to get it in. But I think it'll be okay which is why I'm removing a star overall happy with the purchase.

Added waterproof storage to two garage-sale Pelican rec kayaks. Not sure I'd take a sawzall to a brand new kayak, but you do you. They are as they describe and will in fact flex to conform to curves as you tighten screws.. but be advised.. if you do that, they'll leak. Buy these for flat spots, as the manufacturer recommends. Latch design is great, fits wherever you cut the hole, and functions nice...

We have Lifetime Spitfire 10' Kayaks. The hole pattern on the lid is bigger than the hole in the Kayak. You have to be super careful when drilling the holes or you'll miss the Kayak completely. I used a spring loaded center punch to locate the holes.
