The case fits the steam deck perfectly and it is easy to put on. Once installed you forget it is there, except for the top buttons: they end up sunken, they are more difficult to push. A good enhancement would be having the rubber covering them completely. There are 2 things I don't like about this case: - It adds no grip, it has some texture but no much - When I finished installing the case and tried to use the kickstand it fell off. I put it back but then it will fall again many times. Finally I removed the deck from the case and carefully put the kickstand back the best I could, then reinstalled the deck. So far it is holding up, but looks like the kickstand is the weakest part of the case. Besides those 2 minor issues, the case is great.

I recently purchased the Steam Deck Protective Case and I must say, it’s been a great addition to my gaming setup. The case has a nice texture on the handles that provides an excellent grip, ensuring that the system doesn’t slip out of my hands during intense gaming sessions. One thing I appreciate about this case is its slim design. It doesn’t add much bulk to the Steam Deck, making it comfortable to hold for extended periods of time. The easy installation process was also a plus for me. However, one minor issue I have with this protective case is that the power and volume buttons are not covered. This means that they can accumulate lint and cat hair over time, which can be a bit bothersome. It would have been nice if these buttons were protected to prevent such issues. Overall, though, I’m quite satisfied with this protective case. It offers good protection for my Steam Deck and the kickstand feature is a game-changer when using a controller with the deck. If you’re looking for a case that provides both grip and functionality, this one is definitely worth considering.

It's nice case, and provides a little more grip. The kickstand is useful. The big drawback is that you can't use it with the Dock. It makes the Steam Deck too wide and so it won't then fit in the slot in the Dock.

I always get cases and bumpers for my expensive electronics, just to protect against small accidental bumps and drops. This case went on easy and did not add a significant amount of weight or size to the steam deck, but feels thick and durable enough to provide a decent level of protection. The added kickstand is nice for when I hook up to a tv or want to play using a standard controller. I have already recommended this simple case to a couple of other steam deck owners i know.

My household is slowly amassing a large collection of Steam Decks, so I've managed to try a lot of cases. This one is firmly in my top 3. It protects well, fits perfectly, and the kick stand makes it much easier to use a controller with the deck.

Steamdeck cases are mass produced pretty heavily, but that means a few things- since its a simple item- QC is pretty consistent across the board and dependent on the manufactorer and not as much on the seller. If its a good mold and has good features- you'll be happy as long as you pick a good mold/design, regardless of where or who you get it from. I'm a fan of this particular design as its not too thick, fits easily, has pronounced grip textures, includes a kickstand, and due to slim design- still fits easily in the majority of mass producted steamdeck docks available as well. This time is no different- very satisfied with price and features. Would recommend!
