I was so excited when it arrived. I followed the instructions carefully and was disappointed that it hardly did any embossing when it did the cutting. I then followed the embossing instructions after cutting the item, but the die slipped a bit. My sister-in-law said the instructions were wrong and to place the A plate, then metal plate, the black magnetic plate, paper, die facing down, then top it off with A plate. It worked perfectly! Cut and embossed all in one step! Love it! Some friends & family received these gorgeous hand made one of a kind cards and wanted to make some too. So we've now started meeting once a week to make cards, ages 40-82! Love the delicate butterfly die cut that comes with the machine!

I recently fell and broke my elbow and it has been a few weeks since I could turn the crank on my embossing machine. I felt it was time to treat myself to an electric machine. I looked at reviews on YouTube and they were all glowing for this Empress. I am so glad that I purchased this! It cuts like butter. It isn’t noisy and it is saving my arm from pain!
