  • Excellent, high-tech charger (just one problem for my specific application)
I have returned this charger but I wanted to leave a positive review and explain why I returned it. As yet another USB chargeable device was added to the collection on my nightstand, I needed to expand the USB outlets to more than the two provided on the Amazon smart power strip on my side of the bed. I thought this would fit the bill - and it would have except for one issue. This is a "smart" charger in that, when it senses that a device is no longer drawing a charge load, it cuts (or drastically reduces) the power output to that outlet. This is great for conserving power and for the environment, but it caused a problem with how I charge and use my phone at night. I have a Pixel 10 Pro on a MagSafe compatible charger. I have Night Clock + installed on the phone to use as a (very dim) clock with large numerals I can see at night. The setup on Night Clock + is such that it comes on when the phone is placed on the charger (between certain hours) and stays on until the phone is taken off the charger. The issue arises when the phone reaches the 80% charge that I have it limited to and the phone and charger quit drawing a full charge load. This causes the Anker charger to cut power to that output and the phone thinks it's no longer on the charger... the night clock goes away and the phone reverts to a black display. Again, I have several other Anker chargers (including a couple of 100 watters for my laptop and the big 100 watt charging station with 120VAC pass-through outlets fastened under the dining table where we both use our laptops and other devices). They are excellent chargers, very reliable, and well made. The GaN chargers are very compact, too. I love the Anker chargers - just wanted to put this out there so people would know how these new smart chargers behave. ... show more

  • Perfect Travel Charger
I bought one of these when they came out to keep in my travel bag. I occasionally use it when I'm at home, but normally see it for travel. I had a trip this week & couldn't find it. Fortunately Amazon was able to deliver another one overnight. This is the perfect travel charger, especially if you are trying to go light. Everyone else on my team carried their dell or HP charging cords, which are probably 10x as large as this one, and they only charge one device. I pack only this charger (and one of the small Apple ones for my watch). I like to keep my watch next to the bed as an alarm or else I would just pack this. I can charge my laptop, iPad & phone at the same time. If I wanted to I could plug my phone into the side port of my laptop & use the third charging port on this charger for my watch. It's just nice to have something that works well and can replace like 4 other items in my travel bag. The only real downside I can think of is that there are some issues with charging if you don't plug items in a certain order. The Apple Watch will not charge correctly if you plug it in first, and I think the laptop won't get as fast of a charge if you plug in other USB-C items first (I'm not 100% certain on the second point). But it's a small thing & once you learn it, you're good to go. It's pretty amazing how small this charger is, for what it does. It's about the size of 2 of those small iPhone chargers you used to get when they first came out, but it can charge a full sized laptop, iPad & iPhone at the same time. Construction is solid & it has a retractable power plug, which I really like. Overall I love this plug. I like ti so much that when I couldn't find it for this trip, I bought another one overnight from Amazon, rather than packing something else, or even looking at any other options. ... show more

  • Great charger, highly recommend especially if you travel frequently!
Love this charger. It is great for traveling and doesn’t take up a lot of room in my bag. It charges all of my portable electronics, from my iPad to my iPhone and my iPods. Great value to be able to charge 3 items from one charging block. It’s anker so it seems to be well built and feels like a tank. It is also not as long as a prior model so it stays in the socket so no falling out. Just a great charger and, depending on the load you are putting on it, charges pretty darn quick. Overall, I highly recommend, this thing works and lasts. ... show more

  • Compact, Powerful, and Reliable — Classic Anker Quality
It’s Anker—so, as always, excellent quality. This charger is compact, powerful, and well-designed with convenient folding prongs. It’s perfect for travel, freeing you from the need to carry multiple charging bricks. Just take this one with you, and you’re covered—iPhone, Android phones, tablets, iPads, and even a MacBook can all be charged with this small yet capable cube. Given its compact size and high power output, it does get a bit warm during use, but never to an uncomfortable or unsafe level. As with any charger, it’s best not to leave it plugged in when not in use or when you’re away from home. Overall, a great, reliable, and thoughtfully designed charger that delivers exactly what you’d expect from Anker. ... show more

  • The only charger is travel with now!
Quite happy with this little power block. I hated brining multiple power adapters when traveling. This little beast is able to charge my laptops, iPads, phone, and headphones without any hiccups. It has 2 USB-C and one standard (USB-A) ports . It is very compact and great to travel with! It’s the only power adapter I bring when on the road. Picture is next my wallet and AirPods Pro. Did a few tests with my phone and laptop for charging speed and my phone is rated for 40W Max and was an average 25-30W with peaks up to 39W. My MacBook Pro was able to charge was able to charge at just below 60W. My iPad Pro averaged 20-23W charging. (Third Gen, M1). Highly recommend this! ... show more

  • Best option for travel/home under 100W
My current favorite Anker Charger! I have two of these. Perfect for home or travel use, if you need something under 100W. Best for charging phones, tablets, smart watches or cameras like GoPro. Better form factor than alternatives which can be long and may fall out of an outlet while plugged in. I specifically like how the metal prongs fold up and how it’s more square so it sits better in an outlet while using a travel adapter. ... show more
