I’ve used many Anker products in the past, this one is no different from other Anker charger cables when it comes to quality. With the price of $25, it may be an initial turn off. It definitely was for me. Let me tell you though, I definitely did not regret it. With the price tag, quality comes with this Anker product. This charger is one of the best investments I’ve made to this date. I’ve been able to bend this charger at many “weird” angles which definitely would’ve easily broken other chargers. Still, you shouldn’t abuse it’s durability to maintain its prolonged use. Not only is this product durable, but it comes with a superior finish. The smooth finish & feeling of the charging wire comes with the premium price. The only complaint I’ve had with this charger is that it is slightly more difficulty to “pull” towards you if it’s being held by a pillow/blanket and the wall slightly. The finish allows for a better grip, which can become a slight inconvenience sometimes, as the example I’ve provided. After buying a 2-pack of v cheap USB C-to-lightning cables that broke on day 1, I said 'eff it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" and forked over more for this guy. Truly feels very sturdy and well made, and the material really does feel super nice. Very high quality and does fast charge as advertised. Got this specifically to charge an iPhone 13. I started color coding charging bricks and cables to differentiate them. One color combination for iPhone fast charge another color for standard (old) charge. Another two colors for standard and fast charge for Android phone/tablets. They are appropriately thick. Very soft and flexible which might make them prone to pinching. The coating of the wire has a really nice feel. Small accent but around the ends of the cable there is a slightly rosy metal stop that is a nice touch.

Long cord and it is very soft. I’d say avoid leaving this cord near pets that chew. I have a cocker spaniel that doesn’t chew thankfully, but my moms dogs would totally chew on this cord.

I’ve always loved Anker products, my last Anker type c to lightning chord lasted me well over a year and still had power AFTER the cable was frayed and falling apart. I have been using this charger for 1-2 weeks and it is ALREADY beginning to not charge or connect. I have not reached out to Anker about this problem, but you wouldn’t expect to have this problem from such a trusted brand. (Not to mention that this is a $30 chord, JUST THE CHORD!!!) Quality is lacking. I can say that when the charger is working, it is lightning fast and almost concerning how quickly my battery charges, but I suspect that’s mainly the Anker power brick that does most of that heavy lifting. EDIT: Almost immediately after I made this review, Anker contacted me and offered me a full refund. I did accept and I’m going to use the refund to buy another cable. It’s hard to believe that such a well known company with an almost 5 star product could be defective for everyone, maybe I just got a dud. I am changing the review to 4 stars. The reason being that the reply was very quick and professional without me even contacting them, and THEY offered the refund. So I wouldn’t avoid this product, if you get a dud just contact Anker and they’ll get you sorted out. Other than the “only connecting sometimes” issue the cable is great, and is very soft. ... show more
