TLDR; They are decent boot that will keep your feet pretty dry. These are best for casual hiking and I wouod suggest getting insoles for them. I look these books out for the first time on a moderate hike up to Glen Ceader Campsite on Mt boldy on southern California. It ended up being around a 7 mile hike. It was a little raining and we had to walk through some small areas of moving water. To my suprize my feet stayed dry even with out me water proofing them. It was a moderate level hike with a couple of rocky areas but mostly even ground at the end I only had one small blister which I would consider a success since it was the first time wearing them. The next hike I took them on was the cougar Crestline trail which ended up being avoit 6.5 miles for use the terain was more rocky and I could definitely feel it Abita more on my feet but over all they held up. Since the soles seem to be on the thiner side I would recommend investing in some insoles if you are going more uneven trails. ... show more

For most of my life I have stuck with super popular brand names for my shoes but as I’ve gotten older I don’t really see the point in dropping $100+ on a shoe that sometimes is poor quality. I decided to take a chance on a brand I didn’t recognize and got these for an absolute steal on sale. My size was only $19.99 when I ordered so the risk to try them was low. I normally walk 20k steps on a typical day at work so having something comfortable on my feet is essential. These arrived at my door right before I needed to leave for work but I had a few minutes to try them on so I did. Well, they were so comfy out of the box that I kept them on and headed straight to work for 8 hours. I have zero regrets as my feet felt wonderful and I didn’t experience any issues even with thin socks. They do keep your feet warm so if it’s the middle of summer and you work outside this probably isn’t for you but I’m sure they will be wonderful for the outdoors when it starts to cool off. I ordered my true size and was able to fit my foot straight into the boot with minimal effort, the zipper works wonderfully and I left the laces knotted and they stayed that way all day. I imagine I’ll be coming back to this company in the future when these wear out. If you’re able to find these at a price that works for you, you won’t regret it. The boots are cute, and fit comfortably if you don’t need arch support. They seemed true to size and had plenty of room in the toes. The aglets on both laces broke almost immediately. They only held up for about 6 months before they were totally trashed. But I walk and hike a lot. The heels on both separated completely from the sole at the back allowing debris and water in. But for the price (on sale I paid $45) I didn’t expect much more. I liked them enough to get another pair after the first were worn out. ... show more

I bought these boots for an Ireland trip because I wanted something waterproof; I’ll update review after returning regarding rain. But I’ve worn them a few times already and I really like these boots. The only thing I can complain about so far are the crooked eyelets. Fantastic boots. Well made and very attractive. Sadly they do not fit for me. Size is probably accurate but I wear boots like this with thick cotton socks and that is a problem. Fit is good with ordinary socks but my boot socks make these too tight to be comfortable. I will probably keep them anyway and just not use for cold weather as the replacement cost to up-size is now double what I originally paid. ... show more

I got these hiking boots for my granddaughter, and they are very nice looking. She said they also fit very nicely. I don’t know how well they will hold up in the long run as she has just started wearing them. It’s a very nice boot for the money.

I am very happy with the quality and comfort of these boots. I ordered my regular size and I was able to add an insert and wear 2 thin pairs of socks. I recently put them to the test cleaning up property that had been logged and felt confident walking on very uneven branch scattered ground. My ankles were fully supported and the padding was very comfortable around the top. I love that you can adjust the shoelaces then use the zipper for easy on and off.
