  • Great and robust pump.
Size: 4,200 GPH
This pond pump is well built, substantial and works great. The protective screen is too part locking both large and smaller debris. My pump has to send water to a fairly high elevation in Texas that any difficulty whatsoever. The pump is well built with a stainless steel construction. This is the best pump that I've had for my pond that is over 30 years old. I highly recommend this pond pump. ... show more

  • Great pump for my specific need
Size: 6,300 GPH
Based on my setup (28 ft of lift) this 6300 gph delivers more water than a 9,000 gallon pump I was considering. All pumps will have a lift (head height) chart in the description. This 6300 pump deliverers right at 4,000 gph at 28 ft-which makes this a very strong pump at that lift.. The 9,000 gallon I was considering went to 0 gallons at 20 feet. Bigger is not better when it comes to pond pumps ... show more

  • Had a 21 yr old Big Frog Pump give out~so I ordered a new one!
Size: 5,500 GPH
Great power on this pump. We ordered it for our fairly large koi pond. We needed a replacement because our old one gave out after 21 years and it was the same make as this. It appears to be working perfect.
