I haven't collected too many amiibo cards yet, so whether these were Series 1 or 5 or whatever, I was going to be happy. Yes, they are Japanese, but they work just fine and I can tell who they are by their image. My daughter and I have used them frequently. No problems, exactly what they describe.

I just got these Japanese series 1 AC amiibo cards. There are 5 packs wich 3 cards each, for a total of 15 cards. Each pack has one special NPC card. These are all Series 1 even though Series 2 is now also available in Japan; wish the seller had made this clear as I wanted Wave 2 characters like Hopper and Copper. Really nice cards. In Japanese only but works with N.A. version of AC: Happy Home Designer.

This is a very good deal, especially if you're trying to get a particular "special" character. While the American packs come with 6 cards, only 1 of those is "special", meanwhile the Japanese packs have only 3 cards, but still have the 1 "special". Therefore, with these, you get about double the amount of special cards for the same price as the american sets. (With this set at $15 and the American packs hovering around $6, it averages out to the cards being about $1 apiece.) Basically, if you don't mind the little bit of Japanese language on the bottom and want to get a special character such as Isabelle or Tom Nook, this is definitely the way to go.

These cards are a lot of fun to use in the Animal Crossing games New Leaf and Happy Home Designer. (You can also use them in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for a few extra goodies each!) While the cards themselves are in Japanese, they work with systems around the world without issue. Do note, however, that the Japanese packs only contain 3 cards per pack instead of the 6 found in North American packages. You do still receive one special card in each foil pack. My specific order came from "Dealer polite in Japan" and fulfilled by Amazon, quickly and exactly as advertised.

These cards are much higher quality than I expected and just beautiful. I love the pictures of each villager. They arrived quickly on the day promised, fulfilled by Amazon. They were well packaged with bubble wrap and more, so undamaged by the rain. I didn't get any duplicates at all!!! What a nice surprise. I am so glad I ordered them.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING! this is in NO means a bad product. However, the product description does NOT tell you that each pack only holds 3 CARDS!! These product only holds 3 CARDS per PACK. You will get a total of 15 cards for around $15. You are paying virtually the same price as you would for American Animal Crossing cards.
