I wanted a bumper for my phone iPhone 12 Mini (Red), something that wouldn't cover up the back of the phone. This is clear and doesn't obscure the color. It just thick enough that the camera lenses in back do not touch the table when the phone is set down. I don't know why a few reviewers criticized the thickness... any thinner, and the phone would be resting on the camera lenses, instead of the bumper. The front of the bumper extends just enough to keep the front of the phone off the table. I assume we are getting these bumpers to protect the phone... I suppose maybe if you just want it to give your hands a better grip on the phone, you could go thinner, but then you would be risking the camera lenses (in back) and the screen (in front). The bumper does not impede functioning, the side button is still easy to push, the port at the bottom is generously sized to allow the power plug to to in (if you're not using MagSafe charging), the Silence slider on the left and the volume buttons on the left are still easy to use. If you are using MagSafe charging, then this is great because it leaves the back free, so you can get an excellent lock on the phone with the charger. My desires for a minimalist case that protects well while showing off the beautiful design of my iPhone 12 Pro Max are executed extremely well by ANHONG with this bumper case. The case fully protects the screen with a 1 mm lip protruding completely around the screen and protrusions that prevent the backside camera lenses from touching a flat surface under the phone. Unlike the OtterBox case I got with my phone, this case is completely stable when placed on a flat surface because the 4 corners of the backside are equal lengths; the wobble from the lack of backside symmetry with the OtterBox case is its fatal flaw. I like seeing the backside with the shiny Apple logo on the the graphite metal. The polished side surfaces are visible through the clear protective material. The material itself looks a bit cheap compared the OtterBox case, but the ANHONG case completely gets out of the way in showing off the iPhone vs. OtterBox case that completely covered it. For the price, compared to other bumpers available for $20, it does the trick. I’ve dropped my phone a few times and there’s ZERO damage. This bumper is one of the best, the fit, the feel/grip, the buttons are easy to find and respond properly! This is as good as my old (for 5S and SE) TECH21 bumper. I purchased s black different bumper here recently for $24 that woefully underperforms, for $8 (a fraction of the TECH21 this bumper cannot be beat! ( I suppose in the spirit of giving it a negative grade it would be that it is available only in clear, but this negative does not take away from its attributes at all). ... show more

I purchased this protector trying to get a light weight and different from the normal phone cases. It looks great and it’s light weight but it doesn’t fit right. Charging port is not a good fit and I’m having to take this off to be able to plug the charger. Also, not a tight fit around the buttons. I do not recommend this case and I’m having to go back to my regular case. ... show more
