My 7 year old loves the scooter he got for Christmas. It goes faster than his older scooter which is great for his age. He loves the kickstand and the different LED patterns. The 3 different speeds are great for learning and the push to start helps a lot. Even the thumb throttle is linear so the farther you push the faster it goes. My favorite is how small it folds up for easy traveling in the car.
