I used this to lighten the faux leather I used to make my own headboard. I got the 'tan' color because the leather I got looked more orange in the store but when I got it home it looked dark and chocolatey in color. I found this paint and thought I'd try it out on a scrap piece and its great! I used a wet sponge and did about 5 very light coats of the paint using a small amount and light circular motions. I didn't press too hard because I liked the texture of the leather and wanted the orange to be only on the surface and not sink into the little cracks of texture. Because of this, it looks so authentic and people are totally surprised when I say I changed the color of the leather. I had also dried very nicely but did take about a day or two to totally dry out. ... show more

Bought this to recolor a pleather bike seat to match new handlebar tape. It was a good match for the tape thank goodness, and the quality of the paint is very good. Coverage only took one layer, and it remains very pliable. I'll be interested to see how it stands up to weathering.

I originally got this product to touch up a few minor scrapes on my MK Collete bag (a fav of mine). It was a toss up between the tan color and the cognac color. I did a little research and went with the tan and am delighted. It covered the imperfections and the bag looks brand new again!
