This is a really great item to have. When you apply the finisher the consistency is like water. It spreads evenly around your surface. Once dried it looks glossy and very smooth with no brush marks. It works well when paired with an airbrush. I think it is good at protecting against scratches and water preventing damage to your paint. Purchased this Acrylic finisher for my work key clip. Applied it and came out great. Over time the leather has shined though (with daily use) so the matte look is not permanent. The size is not huge so eye on that. Once concern that I had when I received it was there it appeared to have little "plastic" dots which would stay stuck on to my project. I would have to remove them to finish correctly. Will still see how I can get better at using it. ... show more

I used this to protect art from Marc Jacobs Bark Jacobs event on my handbag. Looking good still! Applied back in spring time. I think I did 3 coats and let dry over night in between layers. APPLY IN ONE DIRECTION do not rub it back and forth over art. Very liquidy!
