These are used to protect your paint from scratches and scrapes. 600 is a normal shine. 605 is a satin shine. 610 is a high gloss shine, and 620 is a matte finish. They come in both 1oz and 4oz.
  • Our finisher is a great top finish for all smooth leathers. Not only does it protect, but it helps your leather last longer, and can give the factory finish look to your project, whether that be a shiny, or matte finish. These are excellent for both hand-crafted work and high speed production.
  • Simply apply with a sponge, rag, wool, spray gun, or a brush and let dry. No buffing needed. This is water based, so it cleans up with soap and water
  • Will not rub off, crack, peel, or streak. Its also water resistant. Our finishers are flexible enough for belts, shoes, handbags, saddlery tack, upholstery, furniture, boots, & More!

Just follow directions. Or even just read the directions and know that it looks like you've ruined something when you apply this finish but that's okay. When it dries, there's no noticeable blemishing at all. You get the sturdy and transparent finish you were looking for.

This seems to be a good product. It goes on well and makes the leather feel good. However, it is NOT matte. It is very shiny compared to the factory finish on my truck's aniline leather seats. I purchased because I read a review stating the product became matte after a few days. But this was not the case for me. While the product did seal the spot I wanted to repair, now I have a shiny spot on my leather seat. Hopefully, it will rub off over time. I would still recommend the product if you want a shiny finish... just be warned! ... show more

We wanted to change the color of two of our three vinyl-covered kitchen stools from orange to teal. (Used the Preparer and then 5 parts Turquoise, 1 part Dark Brown and finished with the Matte Finisher.) We're happy with the results! However, that Finisher does not seem entirely necessary: the "finish" on these is the part I like least! Pros Beautiful color and adhesion. Super easy. No cracks. Never comes off on clothes (I worried!). Cons The finish still is shiny, not matte as you can see the difference in the orange (old) and teal (new). The surface is a bit stickier than before and has only improved slightly over the six months we've tested out. Note that we also applied a leather conditioner over it at the end because we read on the Angelus site that this can help that tacky feeling and it may have helped a little. If I had to do it all over again, I definitely would, but I'd wait a good few days between coats to see if that helped the overall tacky texture (not sure it would). I'd use a leather conditioner and not the Angelus Finisher. Anyway, the color is exactly what we wanted in the kitchen and the old orange one is in the office now. ... show more
