Did an amazing restoration!!! I cleaned with wipes first, used conditioner on all over the leather, taped the bag with scotch tape to protect the monogram and then began painting the bag. I used only two coats of Paint and topped it off with matte angelus finisher! I am AMAZED at the results!! It fixed all the water marks, stains and was way cheaper than paying $700 to replace the leather at LV. Definitely recommend!!! The paint was minimally sheer at first but even with one coat it looked amazing! Very easy use and easily removable if you mistakenly make a mess on the monogram or the hardware. ... show more

It does not stick well even if you apply deglazer. I am a pretty good painter but not with this kind of paint. It will ruin your vintage louis vuitton. i would strongly suggest to clean and condition vachetta instead of painting it. I ruined my vintage speedy with this

Update: change since last post. I discovered my Vintage LV Keepall 45 (partnered w/French Co) had leather that was coated, so it came out much darker than the vachetta that was uncoated on my Speedy. Keep that in mindโ€” coated versus raw leather will turn out differently. I didnโ€™t like how dark it came out (pic 1) so i stained it mahogany (see pic 3.)
