Used this black paint (mixed 1:1 with Angelus Soft) and Angelus black suede dye to recolor a brand new pair of Vans. Was really scared to try this for the first time on a new pair of shoes, but I needed black shoes for an upcoming event and the shoes I wanted only came in navy blue. They turned out PERFECT. I spent about 45 min just in prep time taping everything off extremely carefully (in photos it’s the red vinyl tape). It was really tedious but paid off. My edges are all crisp which made all the difference in these looking professional vs sloppy/homemade. I finished them off with a suede brush once dry and a waterproofing/stain protection spray to seal them. Color does not rub off. ... show more

    • It does it’s job
Personally I’d recommend using acrylic paint or paint meant for actual clothing rather than this mixer to make the leather paint work. While it does the job it just doesn’t seem cost effective
