Easy to assemble in 5 minutes by a pregnant lady and a 10-year-old. The box came looking wrecked, but the minimal packaging inside miraculously kept the chair in perfect condition. It has zero VOC smell and my Alexa indoor air checker also has a zero reading for it. So that's awesome! The box says it's linen. I wear linen clothes in the summer and they are not as durable or thick as this chair, so I'm disinclined to believe the fabric is linen, probably the weave is linen made of polyester, but again, no smell or pilling. The chair swivels, rocks/glides, reclines, and is silent which is so nice compared to my old wood rocker. I've already spilled some lemon tea on the chair, but it came out with a dry towel and dried without staining at all. The medium gray color is "heather" enough that it's not a piece of sad beige mom furniture, which I certainly wanted to avoid with the other earth-tone (sad beige) color options. At 5'4" my feet just barely touch the ground flat while seated, but using the ball of my foot is easy to rock. My 6-foot husband has zero trouble touching the ground, his muscled weight doesn't seem to affect the rocking at all, and my wide mama hips have generous space left in the chair, so it fits a good range of human sizes. Great rocker! I love it! Looked for a long time to find a rocker that was comfortable and sturdy. This chair is spacious and can hold heavier people. When I rock in it, I feel secure. The quality on the fabric is good. Haven’t found any blemishes. The color is an attractive dark heather gray, with pretty white piping- true to the amazon picture. The rock itself is very smooth, baby can’t resist falling asleep in it. The foot rest is a great feature, too. Some complaints for it I’ve seen is that it’s too hard to push back in, and I would say maybe a little, but most are, that aren’t automatic... It’s really not difficult. The padding is firm yet very comfortable. And the price is awesome! I waited a while to write this review, to make sure it really was worth 5 stars!! ... show more

This chair is wonderful and very comfortable. Glides well and reclines easily. However, I should warn you that the chair essentially comes in 3 pieces: 2 arm rests and then the entire rest of the chair and base. The arm rests weigh very little, but the main section (chair and base) is quite hefty and is all one piece. We live in a 3 story house and I figured that I could carry the chair up in pieces and assemble it on the 3rd floor. However, I had to end up lugging this massive chair up 3 flights of stairs. On the other hand, it was very easy to assemble and rest in once I made it to the top. 5 stars for a quality chair, but next time please warn your customers that they might need to extra hand to lug this beast up the stairs. ... show more

I really enjoy this chair in my son’s nursery . We use it for every feeding and nap time. I even took family photos and newborn photos with it and my photographer loved the style . It’s comfy and relaxing . Only complaint is it squeaks a lot and makes sound when rocking but not all the time . Not sure why ? It’s annoying when it happens but it’s not all the time. I spent a LOT of time looking for the perfect recliner for my baby's nursery last year. I looked on every website and went to every store in town. The price for this one was great but I was nervous if I would actually like it. I couldn't find another that fit in my space or my budget, so I pulled the trigger. My husband and I are also pretty big people so I wasn't even expecting him to fit in it. But let me tell you, this recliner is IT. I would buy it over and over. It's comfortable, easy to maneuver, quiet, compact but just big enough. Photo shows my 6'3" 260lb husband in it. Baby is 8 months old now and it is still like brand new with lots of use.     • Reclining pull doesnt work

Originally loved this chair for my nursery. Getting to use it, I've noticed the recliner pull doesn't work. You have to pull the latch and then reach down and pull the reclining part up. This is a nursery recliner and how am i supposed to be holding an infant and have to reach down and pull up the reclining part???? If i had the ability to return, i would due to the price of the chair, lack of ease using it, etc. ... show more

Had this for a little over 2 years and it’s held up great! It only gets used for roughly 30-40 mins per day but showing no signs of wear. Not the most comfortable chair in the world but a good value for the price. Perfect chair to put in a smaller nursery.
