The Adheadlink Q8PRO 7-inch Android 14 tablet is a decent, affordable, low-end tablet with a few nice features that make it worth getting. First, the tablet is well presented and comes installed in a protective translucent case with a book-style cover. For this price point, I didn’t expect it to come with anything. I’ve purchased tablets 100x the cost that don’t come with anything, so this impressed me right away. I’ll primarily use this tablet for reading and watching YouTube. Don’t expect much in terms of performance. While it’s running Android 14, it’s relatively slow, and battery life isn’t stellar either. During the setup phase, the device used about 15% of a full charge, so I wouldn’t expect more than a few hours from it. As with any Android device, you have to sign in to Google before you can use it. You can choose to transfer over apps from other Android devices, but I would advise against that since this is not a high-performance device. I had some issues getting it to connect to Wi-Fi. While it can identify Wi-Fi 6 networks, it will only connect to 2.4GHz-capable access points. For some reason, during the setup, my network didn’t show up in the list of networks, so I had to tether it to my other mobile device. After setup was complete, I was able to go into the network settings and connect with no issues. Spec-wise, it’s no surprise either: 32 Gigs of onboard storage, 4 Gigs of RAM, and a quad-core processor. The RAM can be extended by another 4 Gigs utilizing SDCard disk caching, which happens automagicly. There is a slot on the back for an SDCard or TFCard, as it’s labeled. The device charges via USB-C cable and does so fairly quickly, so an external battery bank could be useful for extended sessions. Overall, not a bad tablet. At this price point, you get what you pay for, but the case is an added plus and worth getting if you’re looking for a dirt-cheap Android tablet. On another note, the device shows up as a Peicheng to Google.

I chose the color blue which is more like an ocean turquoise/teal color. It's protected by a clear case with a nice protective book cover (that you can also use to prop the tablet up with). It has a nice soft material like feel to the cover. It arrived with an 88% charge which was much appreciated. I went through the installation process while it was charging and I have to say, it did eat through some battery during that process. Once it was fully charged, I wanted to give it some heavy use...only I had to go back through the installation process for a second time. Battery was 100% this time, and once installation was completed again, the battery life was at 82%. I'm not a fan of bloatware and this had some on it that was not needed. Startup took some time, more than I like anyway. Once up and running, it performed about as you would expect for this price point. The 32GB of storage is adequate for nothing more than browsing/watching a movie and installing a few apps. I managed to play a handful of not heavy intensive games on it, wasn't overly impressed with the performance, but I could still play them. This would be great for toddler aged kid's games. You'll definitely want to add more storage to this if you plan to download a lot of books/music/movies/games or store photos. This is a great little tablet for a casual person that just wants to browse, watch movies, or read a book. Super easy to use and step by step installation walks you through what you need to do. It was easy to navigate through settings as well. Overall I would recommend this tablet for what it offers. The cover and protective case makes this worth every penny spent.

This tablet handles basic tasks well enough, but its limited storage is a real drawback. With only 32GB of built-in storage, it fills up fast, especially if you’re downloading videos, comics, or e-books. Even with the option to expand up to 1TB via a microSD card, it feels like a corner was cut here—more onboard storage would’ve been worth a slightly higher price. The 7-inch IPS screen is decent for streaming or reading, with clear colors and sharp enough resolution at 1024x600, though it’s not going to wow anyone. The quad-core processor keeps things moving for low-demand games and apps, but don’t expect it to handle anything too heavy without stuttering. The dual cameras are serviceable for casual video calls, but they’re nothing special—grainy in low light, as expected. The 3000mAh battery lasts a respectable few hours of continuous use, which is fine for short bursts of entertainment. Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity are reliable, and the Widevine L1 support is a nice touch for streaming high-quality video. The included case is a thoughtful addition, offering basic protection and a solid feeling without adding too much bulk. For casual users who just need a device for light media consumption, this tablet gets the job done, but the storage limitation holds it back from being truly versatile.
