These fit tightly (as they should). Order 1 size up from your traditional size. They are a great lightweight base layer. I work outdoors, and these keep me warm when worn under just lined work pants and a hoodie. Not a waffle knit, these are smooth.     • Very Disappointing -- These Are Too Small By Two Sizes

I bought size XL (I'm between L or XL) of the three pack of different colors. I washed these by themselves in cold water, with cold rinse. I partially dried them for 2-to-4 minutes in a gas dryer. Then I hung them up to air dry. Partly drying them in a dryer gets out wrinkles. The pants are so small I can't even pull them on (I tried all three colors, but all seem the same size by eye). The leg cuffs have very little stretch, thus why I can't even pull them on, and my legs are skinny below my knees. These XLs are probably a Medium. I'm shocked at how small they are. As I've laundered them they can't be returned, so these will go to a local charity. I own other underwear from this brand (generously-sized boxers with lots of waistband stretch), so I'm puzzled by this size issue. Thanks for reading my review. ... show more

    • The fit is comically ridiculous!
I recently realized that I am allergic to fleece and bought these because of the super high ratings and they are 100% cotton, of course. I chose a large which is what I normally wear and while the tops are snug, the distance from the waistband to the crotch on the bottoms is so far that there is no material actually touching your rear end. They literally sag like old man boxer shorts so what you end up with is a bunch of sagging material stuffed inside your pants with very little of it clinging to your skin, which is the entire point of wearing thermal underwear. I thought about trying a medium but the tops are already snug so that won't work. Plus, I bought them when it was warm and didn't really try them until after I'd thrown all the packaging away. As such, they are completely useless for outdoor wear in Michigan or anywhere else where the temps drop below freezing, and so now I'm stuck with these stupid looking things that my girl can't stop laughing at because they look ridiculous! ... show more
