Although the idea of the storage lid is nice, if you put cooked food in the fridge, it does not seal well enough to keep food odors from escaping. Nice idea, needs work. The dish and lid are fantastic.

I love using these to pre-make casseroles that I then freeze and reheat on later dates. IF you place them in the oven at the same time as when you start it pre-heating, I find that the glass warms as the oven does the same and you don't have to worry about defrosting meals ahead of time.
