If your looking for a clear brow gel to keep your eyebrows in place throughout the day this is a decent product. After drying it does feel a little like glue on your brows and they will not move. If you looking for something with a little more comfortable and flexible i would recommend trying the Urban Decay Brow Tamer. The Anastasia Brow gel like i said seems to feel more like a glue as to where if you scrunch your forehead you can defiantly feel that the product is on especially if it happens to get on your skin around the brows. All in All good product, Good amount of product for the price. I would say it all depends if you want your brows to not be flexible or completely still throughout the day as to which product to go for. ... show more

While this is a good product, I think I might have received a counterfeit product instead of the real thing. This is my third tube of this stuff, and I noticed that the consistency is a lot thicker and more goopy than tubes I've had before, and the brush is quite a bit shorter than my past tubes as well. It works fine and the color is exactly the same, but I'm definitely skeptical. I thought ABH might have changed their brush or formula from when I last purchased it a few months ago, but when I compared the brush with the one in the picture on the ABH website, it's shorter than the brush in the picture. I've attached pictures comparing the brow gel I already have (which was purchased from Sephora and is legitimate) and the product I received from this order. This stuff is the best, I'm on my third tube! It only takes a few minutes to apply, and if you have blond "invisible" brows like I do, this is the only brow product you need. It adds color, but more importantly it pumps up the volume by adhering directly to your existing brow hairs, creating a much more natural effect than eyebrow pencils and gels can achieve. I use the wand to fill in the line of my brow, applying the color right onto the skin where I need help (with a careful hand, or you'll overdo it). I brush up once and then down once. I drag the wand straight down along the outer edge. I use a separate spoolie to clean up the line, brush any unruly hairs into place, and then let it set. It takes five minutes and most days I don't need a separate pencil. I have a scar in one brow, bald spots and a few "crazy hairs" as I age. This product has improved my brow game 1000%. Let them grow out and this will give you brows you didn't know you had! The picture is 2 years ago vs now. ... show more

I've been using Anastasia brow gel since 2009. I was sad when they discontinued my color and then happy when they brought more colors back. I am super happy about the caramel color as I was not impressed with brunette. But now I'm dealing with this new brush. All I have to say is WTF!!!! The brush that's been in use for who knows how long isn't good enough anymore?? Have eyebrows on humans changed so much that the perfectly good brush we've been using isn't worth a crap anymore?!?! Good thing I saved my old one because I wouldn't purchase this product again if they don't change the brush back. That thing is seriously awful and an act of treason against people who wear this makeup. Update: I just read from another review that this product is most likely a counterfeit. I didn't notice a difference in the consistency of the product and am happy with the color but the brush is definitely odd. Short on one side, long on the other. Now I will have to compare it to the legit Anastasia I still have and post pictures. I will also post pics of what it looks like on my brows, stay tuned... ... show more

Absolutely love how it keeps my brows in place, doesn't look greasy or like I lathered up with gel. I get my brows tinted and this makes my mornings even easier.     • I'm not a makeup guru and have never used a brow gel before, but I love this product.

I have huge, thick, dark eyebrows on otherwise pretty pale skin (think Emilia Clarke). When I was a kid, I accidentally shaved half of one off, so my left eyebrow has one small section of hair that stands pretty much vertically where all of the rest of my brow hair, on both sides, is perfectly horizontal. I've tweezed for years but it's always been a challenge, time-consuming and it doesn't take long for them to grow back in just as stubbornly. This is the first product that has helped me combat that cowlick-y, stubborn section! Here's what I ended up doing that worked for me: 1. I first tried the gel by itself, straight out of the bottle. You could tell that there was product on the brush, WHICH, by the way, I absolutely love the shape of - easy to roll and work with to get your whole brow! It gave me a beautiful smoothing and almost glossy effect on the normal brow, but did nothing for its eyebrow "cousin". Go figure. 2. Inspired and not deterred, I took a little bit of my favorite high-hold hairspray (TGI's BedHead) and, wincing the whole time, sprayed it onto the applicator brush, then dipped that in a bit more of the gel product, hoping it would give it a bit of a firmer hold. LO AND BEHOLD, THAT WORKED A CHARM FOR THE LITTLE STUBBORN BUGGERS! They still weren't TOTALLY flat, but they were flatter enough that I could see where this was going! 3. With the brows combed and semi-flattened into submission, I felt like I was able to see where they needed shaping MUCH more easily. My brows are also normally soft, fine and very slippery - the gel plus hairspray combo gave them a bit of stiffer "hold" and allowed me to grip and pluck the clear offenders faster too. 4. My eyebrows were nearly perfect - but I was still bothered by the way that some of the taller, tree-trunk thick hairs from the section I had accidentally shaved in childhood (why, ten-year-old me, why!?). I used some fine eyebrow scissors from the drugstore and, very very carefully, cut maybe an 1/8th of an inch (or less!) off each of the hairs that were standing up vertically. That gave me the perfect depth of eyebrow, but unfortunately since that section is also sparser than its neighbors, that section appeared a little bit thinner (as if it had been over-plucked) once I'd trimmed it to a more appropriate depth. HOWEVER... 5. With the topcoat beginning to set and dry into a nice firm hold, it was SHOCKINGLY easy for me to use a softish brow pencil to fill in just that one little area that appeared too sparse. Don't be fooled - this will not give you THE ultimate brows without a sculptor's eye for balance and some extra work, but the final result is worth the effort spent! You're still going to need to wax or tweeze (sorry) and you're still going to need to have a firm, clear idea of what shape you WANT your brows to be in, but this product helped me corral the wayward strays in a very effective and not too time-consuming way. Hours later, they are still holding up and looking great, pencil and all (I think the gel may also have something of a fixative agent to help set the color). I am now obsessed. I'm gently petting my eyebrows, slowly and oh-so-satisfied, as a movie villain would pet his evil cat in his lap - and despite this, they still look awesome at the end of my workday. I've always been so self-conscious about my caveman brows, and with only 30-40 minutes or so, I suddenly have the beautiful, natural-looking, Audrey Hepburn brows of my wildest dreams.
