These shorts are really close to being great. The fabric is wonderful - genuine cotton, not super thin and not overly thick, good pockets; decent length drawstring (could be a touch longer, but okay); the waist and hips fit true to size. However, the bottom of the shorts is like a pair of bell bottom/flares from the 70's. The have an "A frame" at the bottom, and balloon out. My legs are not huge, but they are not small either. To me, this is simply a design flaw, one I have not experienced with other shorts. Too bad, because if this flaw didn't exist, I'd buy a bunch of them. ... show more

Very soft, extremely comfortable. Love them. Only thing....I'm 5'10" 215 pounds and athletic. Bought two XXL and expected them to be very baggy, these are shorts that I intended to wear in the house for comfort and could wash and dry without worrying about them shrinking but the XXL fits like an extra large so this definitely run small.
