I got this for my niece Zoey who is a huge music fan and really couldn’t have found a better gift. This piano is small and ideal for a two-year-old. It’s lightweight, so easy for her to lug around the house. Zoe is literally in love with this thing and has been glued to it ever since she got it. There are so many different sounds and things to do on it. It plays so many different sounds and has several different demo songs. Little miss priss is a huge fan of it and likes to play and pretend she is playing the song herself; It’s the cutest thing in the world. One of my favorite features about it is that it works as a “karaoke” machine too. You can plug it onto your phone or whatever device to hear your favorite tunes and use the cute mini microphone to sing your heart out. On top of that, it has a “play and record” feature which the kids have been thrilled with. They all record them self and call attention to the room for everyone to listen. It does include the AUX cord, was pleasantly surprised I didn’t have to go out and buy one. Surprisingly, it’s quite versatile in comparison to some others I’ve come across. This is a huge plus. The legs can be removed, enabling it to be simply laid across your little one’s legs. I really love this feature because it makes bringing it along on car rides, along with packing it up for a trip much easier. It’s excellent quality, quite sturdy, and durable. It can handle being dropped, unlike most toys in today's world. It is extremely well-made and couldn’t be any happier with it. It’s easy to clean and the keys don’t tend to hold on the dirt or food. I was super impressed with how easy it is to keep this sucker clean. This was a big concern for me since her activity table seems to be a breeding zone for bacteria. Overall, I really like this toy and am happy I got it. I’d highly recommend it to other momS. It will provide your kiddo with hours of fun, as well as help them learn. ... show more

I gave it 4 stars cause for the price I expected a little sturdier. The legs don't snap and therefore the piano falls off pretty easily. It's also small. My daughter is turning 3 in 3 months and it's perfect size for her so I am not sure how it would be for an older child since it's advertised for up to 8 years old. Otherwise it's a nice toy, my daughter can't get off of it. ... show more

    • Fun little piano that your kids will enjoy, but parents will notice some issues

Our child immediately loved this piano and has been plinking away ever since we gave it to her. For the relatively affordable price, it has just enough features and quality to make it a good purchase. Also, I like that it actually looks like a miniature grand piano - so many of the kids' keyboards look nothing like real pianos, and my kid has learned to recognize pianos from photos and videos. I'm happy with the purchase given the price and how much my kid enjoys it, but here are some issues that parents may care about: 1. It's definitely on the flimsy side. The plastic is pretty thin and weak, and a few times when my 2-year-old has picked it up to move it and put it down, it doesn't seem like it's going to take a toddler beating for very long. She has dislocated the arm that holds up the lid numerous times, but thankfully that goes back in easily. But probably not for a kid who's rough with their toys. 2. Yes, you can play chords on this keyboard, but there are 2 caveats: First, you can only play up to 4 notes at one time. Second, there are many 3-note-chords that, when played, will errantly activate a 4th key (e.g. if you play three notes in the F Major chord, it will also play the G# key when you press on the third note). There are many different 3-note-chords that activate their own unique errant fourth note. Unless your kid is the next Beethoven, this will likely not be an issue for your toddler. But if you're a parent who is a pianist and wants to play songs for your kid, this will probably slowly start to drive you up the wall. 3. Lastly, a really minor complaint is with the buttons. The buttons have different shapes, but the shapes don't correlate to any specific functions or categories, and all the buttons are the same color. So for a toddler who can't read the labels on the buttons, it's virtually impossible for them to tell what the buttons do or how/if they do different things. My kid ends up just pressing them randomly and has sort of figured out 2 of them, but based on how she's mastered other electronic toys that use shapes, images, and colors to indicate what the buttons do and how they're different, I think kids would get so much more out of this toy if the buttons were built differently. ... show more

New Update! Have had this little piano for 2 years now and it still works and plays music. Such a great purchase. My kids still love to dance to the music it plays. UPDATE: I got a replacement and my one year old loves it so much. She enjoys yelling into the microphone and just dancing to the music. Plus she looks adorable when sitting at it. It is a very cute piano toy for children. She loves pressing the buttons as well. FIRST REVIEW I received this toy today for my daughters first birthday... Which she would have went crazy over... Only to find out the thing doesn't even work... I was honestly super upset cause this piano looks so cute. I tried two different sets of 4 AA batteries and both were fully charged as they worked on other bigger toys. The piano would not turn on. Returning. ... show more
