This beautiful Burgundy comforter is exactly as it is pictured in the ad, the color is rich and deep, my photos are not exactly true and do not do it justice ... the oversized Queen drapes well over the sides and bottom, it keeps me warm at night... it's new, I've just slept with it a few nights and it's October as I write this, so I don't know how it will perform in Summer, but I believe it would be versatile enough for any season ... I normally wake up a little bit sweaty. but not so much with this comforter, so it does breathe well, and that is what I was looking for in bedding ... I washed it in cold water and there was no loss of color... it is soft to the touch and doesn't need any "breaking in" to make it comfortable, and does not make any rustling noise as you move around ... I'm a Mighty picky person and know what I want and will not stop until I get it, when shopping I have a certain criteria that must be met and this comforter has met them all...
