  • Great Value
If you need a long, reliable tether to connect your VR headset to a PC for SteamVR, this cable gets the job done really well. I tested it with my Quest 3S and did not run into any performance or connection issues. The product description explicitly notes that it is not designed for fast charging, which holds true in practice. It does pass a small amount of power, but when you are actively gaming, the battery will still drain faster than it charges. That is completely fine though, since high-speed data transfer is the main purpose of a cable like this. The build quality feels very sturdy and built to last. It is a bit rigid and stiff, but that is pretty standard for thick, heavy-duty cords of this length. It also comes with a USB adapter, and while the adapter itself feels well made, I would avoid using an extra adapter for VR gaming. Given the weight of the thick cable, hanging it off an adapter creates unnecessary strain on your ports. Despite the stiffness, I do not have any major complaints. If you just need a solid, long-reach cable to stream PCVR games smoothly without spending a fortune, it offers great value for the money. ... show more

  • Long VR Reach With a Clean, Stable Signal
This 16‑foot braided USB 3.0 VR link cable is a dependable, flexible tether that performs extremely well for PC‑connected VR headsets. The price is usually very reasonable, and the combination of long reach plus durable braiding makes it a great value for anyone who wants smooth gameplay without feeling restricted by short stock cables. Quality is excellent. The braided exterior feels tough and resists tangling, the connectors seat firmly, and the internal wiring maintains stable data transfer. The strain‑relief sections are solid, helping prevent wear at the ends. It’s a well made cable designed for VR connectivity workflows. Effectiveness is where this cable shines. Sixteen feet gives you plenty of room to move, turn, and step naturally in VR without tugging. The USB 3.0 bandwidth supports clean video and tracking data, keeping latency low and maintaining a reliable link during intense sessions. It fits neatly into PC VR setup projects where you want a long, stable cable that won’t snag or kink. Durability is strong thanks to the braided jacket, reinforced connectors, and internal shielding that protects against signal interference. Convenience is high since the cable is lightweight for its length, easy to coil, and compatible with most VR headsets that support USB link play. ... show more

  • Decent headset cable
Good cable length at 16 feet, signal quality is good, seems to have a some good durability as I have pulled on it a few times and seems to hold really well.

  • Very well made USB cable, perfect for VR, Data, or even Charging.
I’ve used quite a few high-speed USB cables, and this one feels particularly well made. The braided construction is durable without making the cable excessively stiff, and the connectors feel solid and properly reinforced. The 16-foot length is also very useful when you need extra reach, especially for VR or when connecting equipment away from the PC. The cable is rated for USB 3.0 data transfer up to 5Gbps, and in my testing it was capable of transferring data at the advertised speeds. I specifically used it with a DJI camera connected to my PC as a webcam, and it worked very well with a stable connection and no issues during use. The included USB-A to USB-C adapter is another useful feature because it gives you the flexibility to connect to different types of PC ports. The L-shaped USB-C connector is also a nice touch, particularly for applications where the cable needs to run along the side of a device. This cable can be useful for VR headsets, cameras, and other devices where reliable high-speed data transfer is important. One important note: despite being a USB cable that can carry power, the manufacturer specifically states that this particular model is intended for data transfer and is not designed for charging headsets, so I would follow that recommendation. From a value for money perspective, it feels like a solid purchase. The build quality, included adapter, and stable performance make it feel worth the price, especially considering the long 16-foot length which is often more expensive in other brands. In terms of ease of use, it’s very straightforward. The plug-and-play setup works instantly without any drivers or configuration, and the flexible design makes it easy to route and position without hassle, even in tighter setups. Overall, I’m impressed with the build quality, real-world data performance, and overall usability. For a long USB 3.0 cable, it offers good value and reliable, easy operation when you need both length and consistent data connectivity. ... show more

  • Great link cable. Despite claims that it can't charge, I found it does deliver power.
This is a seriously heavy duty cable for your Meta Quest. I am impressed with the build quality and the angled connector, though it's a bit unfortunate that the default connector is USB-A adapted to USB-C. I wonder if this is why the cable is not rated for charging as well. The disclaimer not to use it for charging is a strange one, as I don't know how I would prevent the cable from delivering power, so I had to test this. It clearly does have power lines in it, as I have tested and found that it delivers 15w to my phone immediately after plugging it in, which is odd since most cables I have tested start lower and take about a minute to ramp up to 15w. When I plug the cable into my laptop, which normally draws 65w when charging, it delivers 0w, so perhaps it is correctly communicating with the charger and device it's power limitations. When I plug it into my Meta Quest 2 and don't turn it on (with the battery stone cold dead) it started out delivering 3w, and after a few minutes ramped up to 9w. I see that the Meta Quest 2 is recommended to use a 15w charger and the Meta Quest 3 is recommended to use a 18w charger, so I'm not sure what limitation would prevent this cable from being used to charge the device. As it charges on my desk now, the cable is certainly not getting warm. If this cable is truly not meant to be used for charging, then it ought not to have the power lines at all, as this is a very simple limitation to implement. I suspect that the 15w capacity of the cable is not sufficient to keep up with prolonged use of the Meta Quest, but if what I'm seeing is correct, using this cable should at minimum extend the battery life of the headset a great deal, provided your computer is capable of outputting 15w over your USB port, which many are not, as you will need USB Type-C 3.0A (5V at 3A) and if you plug this into a USB-A port, you will only get half to a quarter as much power. 5/5 ... show more

  • Nice and long
16 feet gives me way more freedom of movement than the shorter cables I've used before. No more feeling tethered right next to the PC. 5Gbps transfer speed is solid and SteamVR connected without any issues. Nylon braiding feels like it'll hold up to regular use... Worth noting this is a data-only cable, not for charging, so plan accordingly. For PCVR use it's been reliable through a few weeks of regular sessions! ... show more
