Time will tell of the build quality, but Amphenol typically doesn't put their name on junk. If you love soldering PL-259s you could save a few bucks. I'll save the frustration for my longer transmission lines, and order these for patching components.

    • Two of Three Cables Across Two Orders Defective

I ordered two cables the first time, one the second. On the first order, of two cables, one end on both had the threaded collar behind the main connector assembly. I was able to forcibly pull one of them over the main assembly and use the cable, but it took some serious force to do so. The other one would simply not pull forward. (I only made the one work because I **really** needed the cable.) I ordered another one of these cables recently (I had forgotten about the experience with the first pair ordered several weeks earlier). Once again, the threaded collar on one end is manufactured such that it is behind the main assembly and is just impossible to pull forward. I will send back for a replacement (again) but I will look for another provider. Three out of three, across two orders, those orders were weeks apart. Frustrating. ... show more

Well built jumper cable and the assembly and soldering of the PL259 connectors was done properly.

After u use ..take off and on .u need to re tighten..get loose..not amphenol ends

    • These are not marked Amphenol, and they don’t appear to be silver plated as described.

The description claims these are Amphenol brand, and have silver plated connectors, but I believe neither is true. The package arrived with a new sticker covering up one underneath that had Amphenol printed on it. The connectors are nickel plate.
