its a cheap piece of overpriced pvc shaped like a head for your headphones... it works, but you can't just take your headphones off you have to hold the plastic and pull them off because if you don't it will fall over making the loudest noise you have ever heard cause your baby to scream and scream so you can't play your video games.... besides that instance that happened a few days ago, they work to keep my desk clean.... I do feel it is way way way over priced ... but it accomplished the task, I will be making a base that is heavy so I can lift the headphones off without the possibility of waking the whole block ... show more

It looks nice, but for everyday use it's very inconvenient. The way the headphones "constrict" themselves around the stand makes it so you have to manually grab the headphones by each earcup and pull them apart to get them off the stand. With this, you usually have to pick up the entire stand as well so it's incredibly inconvenient if you are, say, mixing music and are going from headphones to monitors frequently. Build quality, it feels like some durable acrylic. Don't see it snapping or bending out of shape for a good while. If you don't mind having to pick up the entire stand and pull apart the headphones to get them off, this would be a good purchase. It looks very nice in a set-up but for actual use I was better off just setting the headphones on the table every time I had to set them down. Edited down to one star because seriously: The whole reason I purchased this weightless little plastic doodad was to protect my phones from my own clumsiness. The fatal flaw: this design is such that the merest jostle or brisk breeze sends the whole piece clattering to the ground, thus ruining my phones anyway. If the bottom were somehow weighted, it'd actually work for its intended purpose. I guess I'll tie beanbags to the "base" or sink it in concrete Mafia-style but that rather defeats the original purpose given I could have easily bent some cheap plastic into an upside-down U by myself and saved some $$. How terrible and pointless this purchase has proved to be! My original review: I am hell on headphones, and can't afford to replace them as quickly as I tend to break them with my careless sleepy flinging. This stand works great to keep my phones upright and safe from clumsy hands and feline over-curiosity. I do have one complaint: the plastic is so lightweight that it's prone to tipping, so be sure to clear a big space on your nightstand or wherever for it. Next time I'll probably just buy one of those arty glass replicas of a human head to store my cans but in the interim, this is a cheap solution with a nice small footprint. ... show more

I cannot seem to get my headphones to sit on the stand properly so that the foam in the ear cups does not become squished after sitting on the stand for a few hours from the pressure that is being put on my headphones. The ear cups get their shape back after I take them off the stand for about twenty minutes which make the headphones mildly uncomfortable during that time. I guess for now, I will just hang up my headphones. I have both the wired and wireless Logitech G933 and they both do the same thing on this stand. ------EDIT------ While I am not a huge fan of this stand, AmoVee contacted me and let me know of a different product of theirs and I really liked the other product. It is the double head phone hanger and it actually comes with a dusting brush. While this one left me a little wanting I am satisfied with the other stand. It holds both of my headphones and it does not put any pressure on my foam ear-cups so my ear-cups do not get deformed in a weird and uncomfortable way. Rebecca, the customer service representitive, was very helpful in this matter and I will look at more AmoVee products at a later time. ... show more

Im very happy with my purchase of the clear acrylic stand for my gaming headset! It doesn't fall back and stays put and holds my headset just perfectly. The acrylic feels sturdy and doesn't feel very cheap at all! I went with the clear one because I read past reviews saying the clear one was thicker (better material) and a but shorter (which I wanted) than the black one plus it complimented my white headset! I love this product so much!!! I knew I needed something to place my headphones on when I had them laying around everywhere and it was starting to look very cluttered. This product was just what I needed. It is very shiny and it is made with a hard acrylic so it is very sturdy even if you place heavy headphones on it. It looks great with any setup because of how nice it is built.
