The media could not be loaded. Gone are the days of opening cellophane-wrapped clay, only to have it dry out and become useless! This air-drying clay kit does it right! The presentation is the best clay toy presentation I’ve ever seen. It begins with a sturdy pressed cardboard box that doubles as storage space for your clay. The box has a carrying handle, and has magnetic closure of the lid. The inside reveals 3 levels. Each level has cardboard cutouts holding 3 clay projects. Each project is stored in a plastic storage container with a well-fitting lid. So level 1 has 3 plastic storage containers sitting in a cardboard cutout - one hole for each project. Remove the project storage containers and cardboard to reveal a 2nd layer, containing 3 more projects in storage containers. Repeat to reveal a 3rd layer, with yet 3 more clay project storage containers. In the end, you are left with 9 total projects, each with clay for that project stored in its own container. See video. In addition to the sturdy storage box and clay, they supply plastic tools for cutting and shaping your clay. And lest we forget…GOOGLEY EYES! There is an included instruction booklet that shows how each of your projects is made — more picture instruction than words — and a wee bit of information about the sea creature you are building. When you’ve done all your projects, you are left with a cool, sturdy, magnetic-closure storage box, and 9 resealable plastic containers in which to store things - slime, jewelry, rocks, or any other treasures your child may wish to keep. They can keep their treasures organized in the box if they wish. Hands down, this is the best way I have ever seen clay presented, and because of the sealable containers there is no wasted clay. Kit is well done with everything needed to make each creature- directions were straightforward, tools, while simple, were sturdy, and the containers were clearly marked as to what creature each was meant to create. The package is just as cute as the finished creatures and has a magnetic clasp so it is easy to tuck away the remaining kits for storage. While my 11-year-old might be older than the target audience she enjoyed this kit immensely. On a side note you will want to have the creatures dry on something that is easy to lift them from because they can stick on the surface if left too long. ... show more

I used these for paw print ornaments for my pets! I love how easy it is to use and all of the colors, plus it left no residue on my hands or the pets’ paws. My only complaint is how long it takes to air dry. It’s been over a week and they’re still soft. However, storing the clay designs in a warmer area may help solve the problem. ... show more
