This is my 2nd review. I now want to add 1 star. These dishes are beautiful and just what I was looking for. After a few uses I noticed marks on the dinner plates. The company reached out to me saying these were not scratches but metalic marks from the silverware I was using and that Zud or Bar Keepers Friend would remove them. I used Bar Keepers Friend and it did remove the marks for the most part, after some elbow grease. I will save these dishes for special occasions and company only. I don’t think you take into account that gifts bought on a registry aren’t shipped to or experienced by the people who buy them. This was a gift to my daughter and soon to be son in law. Really liked the style of these but after an initial wash I noticed what looked like a water mark dried on the surface. Rubbing it didn't remove it but if I washed it again then it would come off. Not as easy to notice inside the bowls but sticks out with the plates.
