Hands down one of the best purchases that I’ve made so far. Very easy to install. I actually didn’t use the mounting clips that came with it. My older cans had springs that seemed easier to use for remounting and I just repurposed those. Replaced 21 lights in about an hour. They look great and provide more than enough light. Easy to adjust the brightness. They are light which initially gave me doubt about quality but they’ve been great so far. Look great and were easy to install and set to the correct color. The included wire adaptor snapped in easily and its just very nice. I like the look of these over the old cans and light bulbs I had in my lights by a wide margin.

Holy macaroni and cheese! Do you have those gawd-awful recessed can lights like I do? well, if you're not interested in doing a bunch of sheetrock work, you could always try these. I am SO excited to have found them. Super easy to change out. Take out the existing can/sleeve/bulb, screw in the bulb adapter, plug the light to the adapter, pull the spring arms back, and pop it in. Done! No more creepy black holes in my ceiling. I also love that there are 5 light settings you can choose from (cool to warm)...just remember to choose that setting before you pop the light in. I have all of mine set at 3700, (second to lowest) and they're absolutely perfect. I also have these in two rooms on three different switches. Dimming is beautiful. and on/off is just bright. Since I just put them up, I can't really attest to their lifespan so I'll update that later. As for covering existing canister holes, I measured before purchasing so they fit perfectly as well as fit to the ceiling. As of now, I see these lights as an excellent value with instant gratification. ... show more

Worked out really nice. These are lightweight so they held really tightly to the ceiling. Reading other reviews, the clips that hold the springs are indeed plastic and can break if you pull on them. The trick is to be careful when squeezing the spring without putting stress on the clips The springs are hefty, which helps hold the lights to the ceiling, but it can make squeezing them a little hard. I did 6 with no problem. Weird issue is that this type of lights has become a commodity. I have six in a kitchen that was remodeled about 4 years ago. I had two spares, ( they came in boxes of four ) but I also had two failures. Even the same manufactures replacement lights are now slightly different. It was just easier to by a twelve pack and replace all six, and have six matching replacements. Changing them all took minutes. It does not seem anyone makes a more expensive, more rugged set. This set should last me for years but the issue is now there is more trash in the landfills. When the fixtures cost under six dollars its hard to expect 10 year lifespans. ... show more

Really like all the options on light lumens. Bought these specifically because there were very few negative reviews. However I have had issues with a couple of them randomly flickering at times. They did fit perfectly and were super simple to install. They were very affordable and have good color. They just hook right in like changing a light bulb and they do function but I bought 12 and 2 of them flicker. So overall good for the money but not sure about durability. Definitely an improvement in the looks department. ... show more
