    • Excellent screen protector, somewhat difficult application. Excellent warranty!
First off, this is an excellent screen protector with excellent clarity and glide feel. It works well with the S Pen, but can be damaged if you put too much pressure. If you want to protect your phone from scratches and you rarely drop your phone, this screen protector gets the job done. The application of this screen protector can be somewhat challenging, because the kit includes a bracket that only mounts on one side. This leaves you to manually line up the top of the screen protector with the hole punch camera at the top of the display. This can be more difficult than it initially seems because the phone is laid on its back with the rear camera protrusions propping up the top right corner of the phone. This means that your line of sight is already somewhat off-axis when viewing from above. Complicating things further, the hole punch camera is bordered by a black ring on a black display, so it's difficult to see exactly where the boundaries of the camera cutout are exactly. When applying the screen protector, step 1 instructs you to glide your finger across to initially keep the screen protector in place. I found that it's better to use the squeegee, because I like to keep our bubbles at every step of the process. The bracket that is plugged into the USB-C port can be somewhat finicky to attach with the screen protector. I found it good to hold your index finger and thumb around the sides of each of the 3 mounting points to push in the screen protector. The trick to getting the application right is to tilt each side of the screen protector while simultaneously using the squeegee to adhere the protector to the screen. Simultaneously, and in a smooth motion, using one hand to angle the screen protector and one hand to squeegee the protector across the screen. Do not do as I did and remove the protective film completely! It needs to be removed and squeegeed at the same time! Watch the instructional video if you are unsure. Also a quick tip: when finishing up and getting the remaining bubbles out with the squeegee, angle the squeegee diagonal to the display to get the bubbles out through the curved part of the display. There will be some small bubbles remaining in the end. I discovered that you can get rid of the small bubbles that won't go away by firmly pressing on the screen protector, right over the bubble, and this should make the small remaining bubbles disappear. Now regarding TechMatte's lifetime warranty, I was able to get a free replacement because my initial application was done poorly. I will never buy a screen protector from another company again, because their warranty allows you to get 2 free replacements in case of accidental damage or user error. I noticed in my archived emails that I also made a claim on this warranty in 2018 and it made me feel so grateful that they have such a generous policy. Their warranty makes me confident that I can make a claim in case I damage the screen protector or if I need a replacement because of a poor application. All in all, I'm perfectly satisfied with my purchase and I can definitely recommend this screen protector! Edit: It's been about a month since I purchased this screen protector. Unfortunately, the sides of the screen protector keep lifting up, possibly due to the curved display or my case. This is causing dust and bubbles to appear on the edges of the screen protector. Therefore, I will have to lower my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. ... show more

Just installed this on my Galaxy S23 Ultra a little while ago. Seriously the best and easiest install kit I've ever used. They give you everything you need to install this correctly and perfectly, so if you're install is not going well... sorry, that's on you lol. Read the directions, just the tools they provide, and your install will be flawless. It looks great and doesn't affect the touch input. I hope the protector holds up over time, we'll just have to wait and see. Side note: If you feel you always get dust particles trapped under your protector even after cleaning your screen, take your phone to the bathroom, turn on a hot shower and let it get a little steamy. This will keep the dust particles from floating in the air while installing your new screen protector. ... show more

    • Good But Not Great
I wound up buying this for my S23 Ultra since the glass screens out there all have characteristics I don't like. There are some quirks with the material used in this one that some may not like. First, and noted in a few other reviews, is the feel of the protector-it reminds me of the clear vinyl that are used for dry bags, etc. It has a "soft" feel that can be off-putting for some. It proved a bit annoying to install-its easy enough to line up using the included tool, but it proved impossible to force all the air bubbles out using the included "squeegee". When I got done, I still had about a dozen very tiny bubbles of air that couldn't be removed regardless of how hard I pressed on them. I was about ready to tear it off and start over (even the tiny bubbles are annoying when running a finger over them) when I stumbled on an install video where this same problem was present. It turns out all you need to do is let it go for 12-24 hours and they will disappear on their own-it appears this is a function of their claimed "self-healing" technology. I waited, and about 20 hours later I had a perfect screen install with no bubbles and the edges (which initially refused to attach to the screen) were firmly attached. It worked perfectly with the Ultra's fingerprint scanner, and it wasn't even necessary for me to rescan after it was installed. The second, and bigger, issue for me is that I really don't think this material will give much protection against screen breakage should something strike the screen. I do think it will cut down on scratches and prevent damage from long term use of an S pen but won't deflect/absorb screen strikes like tempered glass protectors. The included lens protectors fit perfectly over the Ultra's array of lenses, and fit within an Otterbox Defender Series case with no problem. I'm going to keep searching for a glass cover that doesn't require UV curing and doesn't have the annoying hole where the fingerprint scanner is-surely someone will perfect such a design in the near future. In the meantime, I'll keep using this flexible system and hope the screen doesn't suffer any direct strikes. ... show more

My phone cameras are continuously in use. A substantial case and lens covers are essential for keeping this phone in like new condition in daily use. Every time it accidentally gets bumped, dropped or exposed to dust and moisture, I am thankful that the lens and display is protected.
