I've been using the charging holders for a while now, but those block the air, block the controls below the vents, and they fall down a lot (and I tightened the nut as much as I can). Besides, I found that I wasn't using the actual charging feather that much. This holder is great! Excellent product. Strong sturdy clip with only a slight bit of wobble on bumpy roads. The ball joint adjustment stays in place and doesn’t slip. One thing to mention, the magnet is strong, and trying to pull this straight off is difficult and may cause the angle to shift. I found the sliding method works better, but the strength is a plus as your phone will not fall!!! Highly recommend if your vents are horizontal!!! ... show more

    • WILL NOT WORK ON 23' TOYOTA TUNDRA
The hook is too short for the vent flaps and will not hook-on. Vent flaps also have an additional piece on the inside end that adjusts for air flow direction. The hook would interfere with this movement. Otherwise, it seems to be well made and easy to install. A better option for Tundra owners would be a Clip-on Version. ... show more

I have used several vent clip holders in the past. This one is far superior to any others. Plus, after I installed it, I received an email from the owner stating that if my phone was vibrating too much, he would send me a redesigned clip that he thought might work better. He sent it to me right away and it DID reduce the vibration to almost nothing. It is great having my phone much closer to the steering wheel! I bought this to use when we travel and rent cars and found it to be very convenient and strong. Makes it easy to navigate and if the car happens to have android auto/carplay it helps get the phone out of the way (usually ends up in a cupholder)

Bought this because a friend had an older version of the same thing in his car. My phone stuck to it with no problem. Tried a cheaper alternative which didn't work as well, so dropped the $$ to buy the brand he had. However, the magnet is still much weaker than their previous version. You can buy a magnet ring for your phone, but then the phone gets really hot if you use an induction charger. Wish they just made a really strong magnet mount like they used to. ... show more
