This tv stand is a great value for the price. It is obviously made of mdf but the completed stand is extremely sturdy. It looks more expensive than it is. I am a 50-something female and I was able to put it together by myself. There are a lot of pieces but everything is clearly labeled. The instructions are pictures only but easy to follow. It took me about 2 and a half hours to complete but I kept stopping to watch the football game. It's not hard to put together but it is very time consuming. It wouldn't have taken me as long to complete if I had waited on my husband to get home from work so that he could help me. A lot of the reviewers stated that their unit arrived damaged. My unit arrived in pristine condition. I only purchased the unit because I needed a tv stand and this stand is aesthetically gorgeous. I don't need the heater but it puts out a lot of heat.

We found this and at first, laughed, because really it’s the cutest idea!! Why haven’t we gotten one of these before!? Then, we couldn’t believe the PRICE.... then we ordered it and couldn’t believe how FAST it got here (2 days) Then we put it together and still can’t believe how much we love it!!! It is ALOT to put together but NOT HARD. Go slow and read the instructions carefully. (They are not great). if you follow them, it’ll eventually come together. Once it’s together you may have to wipe away a bit of glue (comes right off) and polish a bit from handling but you are going to be VERY happy. We put the fireplace on the front and at first we laughed, but then we turned it on! It’s the cutest!!! And within a few minutes the “fire” climbs and looks even better. The heater WORKS surprisingly well! Course it’s electric so we won’t be using it! But it ABSOLUTELY throws heat!! All around this is exactly what we wanted. It’s a great, sturdy tv stand, looks good, and the fireplace is the cherry on top... GET THIS.

Assembly wasn’t too difficult but I’d say it definitely requires two people for a easier assembly. It’s a beautiful piece truly and like everyone said the heater does have a sound but after having it for so long u kinda tune it out and sometimes I forgot the heater was even on. It gives off great heat though but is very cheap quality wood. That kind that cracks and chips very easily so when putting together u MUST take your time because one wrong move like we did and one of the screws rips through the wood. So I would recommend just beware of that quality. I can tell I won’t have this piece for long especially since I’m with the military and we move a lot so it’s already been chipped and scraped from moving unfortunately. Tried to upload photos but it wouldn’t work for some reason.

The media could not be loaded. Great heat output, lovely flames and ambience, sturdy, modern yet matches all decor, versatile, easily reconfigured, easily moved! 4 years and 4 moves later, still amazing! Heat is the perfect temperature to actually warm a room, yet not too hot to burn little toddler fingers! Baby and dogs love sitting in front of it. It has worked in our first tiny house and now with a spacious updated home! I've used it by itself for storage and decor on the top, as shown, as well as with a 55 inch TV sitting on top of it. I absolutely love this piece! If you're hesitant about it, go with the espresso finish, it has matched everything beautifully!

I paid $219 for this. It came broken and I was sent a new one with much better quality. The fireplace is pretty. The heater works and warms the entire living room. Took me about 2-3 hours to build by myself. It’s not the best quality and honestly I wouldn’t pay no more than 300 for it. You gotta be careful when building it cause it’s not real wood. I added legs on mines for height. But for the price I can’t complain it looks nice in my living room.

I mean.... it’s a $230 fireplace. I was not expecting perfection, but I was hoping for a bit of reliability with this product. From a pure cosmetic standpoint, it’s gorgeous. Fits nicely in our space and keeps our little living room warm on cool days. However, it was a completeeee pain to put together. Once you screw something in, it will only cause damage to undo in case you mess up somewhere in the process. My boyfriend’s one complimented when putting it together was the unfinished part of the bottom, he accidentally put the base of the stand on backwards and it was showing a strip of plywood, which I fixed with some black paint the next day. It’s also not incredibly sturdy, the shelves on the side specifically. They use the little metal pegs to hold up the shelves, but one side randomly slips off, we can’t even put the shelf higher or lower because the shelf won’t sit at all. The other side has no issue at all, but I’m still nervous to put things on the shelves at all. Gorgeous, but next time we move we will probably trash this and buy something of more quality, as this product more-than-likely wouldn’t sustain a move.

I had high hopes for this TV stand based on the other reviews. After the experience of trying to put this together, I have no idea why they were so good! First - I ordered the black version and it came out of the box completely scratched up. The damage could not have been done during shipping because the box was in good condition and the scratches were on the main panels of the unit that were surrounded in styrofoam. Second - two of the pieces had major manufacturer defects. The holes didn't go all the way through, so the pieces would not fit together. Third - the set contains two different kinds of screws but they don't clearly differentiate them in the instruction manual. We ended up using the longer screws on the bottom and they busted through the veneer in places. So by the time this thing was actually assembled it already looked terrible! I absolutely hate it and will not be using it in my living room. I would return it but it's huge and difficult to manage. I have photos of the defects and will upload them if I can figure out how to do so. Avoid the hassle and find something higher quality!!!
