It was easy to install and the heater works like a charm and the color is beautiful. The only reason I do not give it a full 5 stars is that a piece on top came broken. I was so disappointed. I will have to use wood filler and sand it down. Groan. I do love how it looks.

The media could not be loaded. First I just want to say I do actually really like the finished product and it puts out a surprising amount of heat!! My doggie already approves and laid down right in front of it 😍 When the box arrived it was kind of tore up but that could be from shipping because the contents were in good shape. No instruction manual was included for some reason but I was able to find one online thankfully as well as half of the pieces were not labeled which piece they were so I had to figure it out. Fairly easy to assemble but it is time consuming! I started at 3:30pm and got done at 6pm. I did it by myself and ended up using every cuss word I knew and probably made up some more in the process but I’m sure with another person to help it could have went smoother and faster! The single piece of wood above the fireplace insert said to screw it down with the plastic brackets provided but there was literally no room to even have the bracket on there so I left them off and it held in place good once you screw in the insert from the back. Altogether a good piece if you want to put the work in!

There is no point in comparing a $183 piece of furniture against a $1,000 piece. So, if you are expecting hardwood instead of particle board and absolute precision, then this is not for you. As far as cheap furniture goes: * The instructions were surprisingly good. * There were no missing screws or pieces which can completely derail an afternoon of assembly. * It was well packed with plenty of foam. Still, one of the boards had fringe cracks, which I suspect came from the factory and not UPS given, again, how well it was actually packed. * Two pieces had the pre-drilled holes about 1/4" off, which if you have assembled cheap furniture before means you will need to either re-drill them, hit things with a hammer and hope you don't damage anything, or have a fat guy sit on it and hope it moves it enough without breaking. Because of this, it doesn't pass the "could my wife assemble this on her own?" test. * I assembled it while drinking beers by myself, but a second person would certainly help. Once assembled, the wife loves it. The fake fireplace is obviously not a replacement for a real fireplace. But it certainly adds to the room's aesthetics in a positive way, and the fake fireplace provides a pleasing/romantic night light. As an entertainment center, it's fully functional. The fireplace/heater does take away a good chunk of the center area, which could be detrimental for trying to run a center speaker - especially if you are not wall mounting the TV. But that should be expected giving its design. Overall, it was money well spent. Just keep your expectations inline with what you are purchasing.

Cheaper looking than I anticipated. But it holds the t.v. Not ugly ugly. But not great. When you put it together, do it where it’s going to be. Also have a colored pen that matches the surface. I kept mine. But I wouldn’t buy it again. Also have someone there that has patiences while you put it together.

The packaging came to our doorstep pretty beat up. Inside, some of the pieces came banged up, which had to have happened in packaging the product cause there was plenty of foam to keep them from hitting eachother. It was a pain in the behind to put together. Some of the holes were off, so husband had to place new ones. Some of the hardware was missing. The fan when the heat is on does get a bit noisy. Get what you pay for here. Will enjoy it for as long as it lasts though.

So first off, I ordered this on July 6th and they said for two weeks it would be here July 16-19. Great, fine with that - no problem. July 16th roles around and no notification of out for delivery. July 17th comes and it’s finally out for delivery with an ETA of July 25th now which was annoying. July 25th comes and the box is DESTROYED which upset but not their fault so whatever. I start to build it and realize I’m missing a piece of wood so I had to go to home depot and cut out wood and make a new piece (see last photo) to try to replica the missing one. Flash forward to today (august 10) I find time to finish putting it together and realize I’m also missing two shelves that were supposed to come with it. Customer service was nice to give me a full refund (this was done when I realized about the first missing piece) but now I’m missing three pieces??? I should’ve counted all the parts prior to building Becuase I don’t want to go through the work of returning it but still - the product was not only missing three vital and VISUAL pieces but the product as a whole is SO cheaply made and chipped/easily peals. Definitely would not recommend to anyone but I’m hoping to make the best of it - worked way too hard not to. So now if you’ll excuse me, I’m about to go back to Home Depot to make some shelves :))
