I almost didn't order this after reading several reviews complaining about how hard it was to assemble. I believe one reviewer even mentioned taking several days to get it put together. Baloney. For all the fuss they made I almost expected the instructions to be in a different language. If you're in the market for this product as opposed to paying $600 for a slightly better-looking version at the furniture store, my guess is you've also assembled your share of IKEA furniture. This was no different. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, every piece and every screw was well-labeled. We had it together in about an hour and it looks great. I included photos of the part everyone is up in arms about. The drawer rail pictures are inaccurate on the instructions. As you can see, on the instructions the rails should be flush with the edges. Looking at the finished product, they are not - no biggie. The pre-drilled holes for the rails are in the correct place, so just ignore the instructions, line up the holes and you'll be fine. Great piece of furniture. Took some time to assemble, and directions were pictures only (no descriptions of steps) so it took a little deciphering but wasn’t too hard to figure out. Only complaint was that the pieces arrived slightly chipped, and are externally hard to carry / transport without chipping them further. Overall, great product for the price. Though it is a large piece of furniture (much larger than it looks in the picture) it works perfectly in my space. ... show more

Looks exactly as pictured. Measurements are accurate and it's just what I was looking for. I like that the drawers are also smooth as far as opening and closing. They seem to glide and also don't smell like other furniture I've purchased that seems to smell like that compressed material. Great buy.

This fit perfectly in my very tiny room and holds a 65” tv fine. It took me and a friend about 2.5 hours to put it all together. You need your own tools and I recommend a power drill! I also recommend when you take all the pieces out to organize them by number so it’s easier to put together. The instructions were great to follow. So far it’s held up great. It’s a good height for my very low bed frame. The drawers are really nice. Warning: it is VERY HEAVY! when it arrives in the box. Definitely takes two strong people to carry inside. ... show more

By far the worst experience I have ever had with furniture. The parts were warped and would fit. They would break (even though I wasn’t tightening it very tight). I spent 2.5 hours for it to not even hold together. So disappointed. Amazon was kind and gave me 45% back. But this product is absolute garbage. If I had ANYTHING else, I would literally throw this in the trash. But I don’t. So alas, I am stuck with this trash. DO NOT BUY THIS. IKEA stuff is easier to build. ... show more

    • Strong, sturdy and elegant product but installation requires patience.

The product is strong, sturdy and looks great for the price point. But the instructions to installation were poor. We faced the following issues: a) Insructions related to the metal slides for the drawers are not clear, we had to re-do step no. 2, 4 and 6 all over again after realizing the drawers did not fit well into the slots at step 8. It was a lot of rework efforts especially considering that there are just 10 steps and you have to re work on 4 steps by the time you reach step no 8 . b) The large wooden dowel broke of while fixing the three main panels at step no 3. Although these wooden dowels only provide extra support we very a bit panicky initially. c) The holes that are drilled aren't quite deep and some are not wide enough. We couldn't manage to do it manually at all, but even after using an automatic screwdriver, some screws could not manage to go the entire distance, causing an uneven finish even after repeated attempts of screwing and unscrewing screws. d) The right drawer does not easily slide in and out as the metal slide has a slight bend and one screw hasn't fully managed to push through the wooden board. I would definitely ask the manufacturers to consider doing an assembly video/guide where they work on the clarity of instructions as most customers have the same issue with assembly. An automatic screwdriver and lots of patience is definitely essential if you want to go through self assembly cause you don't want to have scratches or broken chips in a black laminated TV stand while assembling. We took a lot of breaks to ensure we had the patience as its difficult to return a large piece of furniture like this one. Hence I cannot comment on the assembly time. ... show more

this tv stand has a good quality, though we can’t say that’s its really an espresso color but we love it. We just had difficult time to assemble it, it’s quitw complicated.
