This is a nice quality, not high quality piece. It's truly not difficult to assemble, just time consuming (60 yr old woman). Every piece was in very good condition, unlike other reviews.     • Fireplace is beautiful but flame does not work.
Just ordered this for my father in-law. Received it promptly the only thing wrong is after my husband put it together - the flame does not work. We're trying to get thru to customer service but as of yet have not succeeded. (I will give an update on this) The fireplace is beautiful and worth the money if we can get it to work, my father in-law loves it. I would hate to try to return this now that we have it all together. ... show more

This TV stand is well made and looks beautiful. Took two people to put together because there are so many parts but it’s very nice and very heavy. The trim around the fireplace was put in wrong so make sure that when you put together put the textured black end on outside and wood finish on inside instead of what we did. The media could not be loaded. I love mine! I love that i has remote control, four different flame settings with or without heat, has 4 different heat settings, has a timer up tp 5 hrs with automatic shut off and it’s a pretty piece of furniture.

    • Wonderful features and looks more expensive than it cost!
My husband put it together and it took a few hours a day for a couple of days. He did reinforce all the holes with a good glue. The hardest part I believe is that the door hinges need to be adjusted to half to get them to line up correctly. He didn't turn them 180 degrees or the doors would not have been flush like one review suggested. He just moved them in some. It turned out great. We love the Espresso color and the stone feature around the fire insert. It has kept us warm and love the cozy look. We went to a retail discount store today that sells all items and we saw one there for nearly double the price and not any fancier. In fact, I like ours better. If you are not an experienced wood worker you may need to get a friend to help. Luckily, my husband is and he reads instructions very thouroughly before starting and makes sure all the part etc...are in order. You won't be disappointed if you do this. ... show more

I was really impressed at how good this item was packaged and even more impressed at how easy it was to put together.It did take awhile but I was assembling it by myself....very pleased overall
