The picture instructions included are for a different 2 piece light set up. I thought this would look nicer, but the instructions say nothing about the 4 extra wires glued (black goop) to the backside bottom of the light assembly - where the hell do they go??!! No instructions!! And on top of that, I request to return this and I get a message that Amerilite will review my request and decide if I'm worthy I guess - 48 hours they say! I was replacing the lights on a 1999 Ford F150. They were the original factory lights almost 22 years old and still working. I measured the brightness of my old lights and the new lights with a lux meter using the max capture feature to get the brightest area. Low beam Original drivers side was 394 lux, new 1970 lux Original passenger side 420 lux, new 1522 lux. Not sure why their was a big difference in the measurements i am guessing it was just the bulb. High beam Original driver side 733 lux, new unable to read. It was too bright for my meter it only goes to 2000 lux. Original passenger side 725 lux, new lights same issue unable to measure it. Overall the lights look good and are bright. It took some time to focus the lights and install them. I had to adjust the settings for the lights from the original packaged setting to recess them into the sockets to my liking. I have only had them in for a day, but i am satisfied with them so far. ... show more

It leaves a lot of gaps on the side and protrudes a lot on top. See photos. The adjusters are already out all the way. You cannot push it anymore because the low beam assembly area runs against the frame. Brightness is ok but the halo and led line are great. Easy to wire and it looks great had it only fit right. I will return this. ... show more

    • Halo wiring are both red but negative and positive are interchangeable
Fit was ok ! Possibly could be better ; all around set up was easy and straight forward even without detailed instructions I.E. : halo light are color coded red indicating wiring is arbitrary and positive and negative are interchangeable because of the supplied black diode supplied . Other than the fitment protruding a little more than I like , it was responsible considering all the extra components added over the stock OEM headlamps. ... show more

A lot of work had to be done to fit these in. They are too thick where they wrap around for the side lights and so you have to grind away some of the metal bracket that holds the original light. And the wire that lights up the driving lights LED section, is too short. I had to take it back out again and add on an extra piece so that I could get to it and get it wired up properly ... show more

Lights were super easy to install. They look great and maybe best of all they were complete. All bulbs were already installed. The whole installation took less than an hour.
