The old headlight housings in my truck were shot, one of the bulbs exploded and melted the inside of the housing. I got these as a cheap replacement and I love them. I love that they come with the headlight bulbs (not the turn signal nor running light bulbs though, just headlight which is fine), even if they aren’t the greatest beam. These housings feel quite nice and were super easy to put in. I watched 5 seconds of a video to figure out where the bolts were and they went in super easy. Some people had issues with the screws being tight for holding the housings together but mine came out easily and went back in easily. I’m super happy with the clarity of the lenses and they would provide amazing view if you use a better grade halogen bulb. The bulbs that came with them will do the job just fine though. Overall, great quality, great fit, little to no adjustment needed, and good visibility straight out of the box.

Exactly what it says on the tin. These are a pretty decent replacement for the factory units, at a much lower price. If you want them to fit and function perfectly, pay for the MOPAR brand name. My truck is a beater that doesn't matter if it looks great, and the frame rails and fender mounts have been bent and straightened, so this may not apply to everyone, but there's about a 1/4" gap above the left headlamp and below the right, and I had to remove the little U-joint clips from the backs of both assemblies in order to cram them into the holes. Impossible to know if this is because of inferior design, or prior damage to the truck body (bumper might be crooked). Either way, it's an excellent choice for my application, and the Phillips-head screws for aiming and connecting the turn signals were an appreciated convenience, even though they broke through the clips while aiming and had to be modified in order to work. I'd only recommend these to anybody who needs function over form. Besides the other little oddities on my application, the turn signals have a tan plastic frame, rather than the black frames on the factory units. No difference to me, but some people might find that this breaks the look of the truck. If so, pay more for some thing else.

You don't want to see a picture of my old ones! Drove home last night for the 1st time after dark. Headlights are much much brighter, even the Dodge flicker is less noticeable, caused by a failing voltage regulator lights module $400 to dealer replace. headlights were aimed correctly without any adjustment. The hardest part of the install, as others have said, is the long Philips fastener that locks the headlamp section to the lower half that takes turn bulbs and marker lights. I soaked those in WD40 overnight and used a proper sized Philips screwdriver to slowly extract. On reassembly I used the original OEM star fasteners. Separation of the two halves is a bit tricky since they are snapped together and pop apart suddenly. I would recommend gloves. Price-wise they are more than adequate for my 2002 Dakota farm truck. Don't forget the dielectric grease on washers and bulb connections to stop water and corrosion if you drive in the rain. I seldom have to worry about that in this part of Texas.

Beautiful product upon installation, right headlight installed quickly and easily, as it should. It simply installed within minutes. The left side took over an hour with a lot of frustration. The parking lights "clip" onto the main "headlight" housing. That part is simple thought. The problem comes with the screw that secures the parking light to the main housing. It comes "screwed" into the main housing from the factory and has to be unscrewed in order to use it to secure the parking lights. It's a cheap grade of metal Philips head screw that (unlike the factory torx screw) is so tight that the head strips out. Even though it's screwed into plastic! The only way to get it out is with vise-grips, 1/4 of a turn at a time. Once I had it out, over 45 minutes later, I used the original torx screw. There's no doubt in my mind that the factory would have made it good, eliminating the frustration, but I needed to use the truck immediately.
