The new head lights were a direct replacement for my original fogged over head lights. It really improved the looks of my truck and improved the overall visibility when driving at night. I had a local body shop do the installation, since the removal and replacement required loosening the front bumper, front grill, and the inner wheel well splash shield in order to get to the inside light bracket holding the light assembly. It was worth the $100 to the body shop due to the original installation and removal design on this model of truck. Unfortunately, after the new light assemblies were installed, the leveling adjustment screw used to adjust the headlight beam would not raise the drivers side beam up enough to function properly. The drivers side low beam bulb was pitched down toward the road and could not be adjusted up any higher. Not good. I contacted Ameri-Lite via email, thru Amazon, about the issue. Ameri-Lite was quick to respond. After some initial correspondence on how to adjust the lights, they sent me a replacement drivers side light assembly for exchange. After the replacement assembly was installed, I was able to adjust both the low beam lights satisfactory using the adjustments screws. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would do it again, based on the final results. The lights look great and perform very well. Definitely much brighter and more modern than my original lights Good product for the money.

I really love the look of these headlights! I took the advice from the reviews and purchased the LED low beam bulbs as well. Once installed they seemed kinda dull and blurry. After some research I found that the correct clocking of the low beam LED bulb is crucial to the light pattern in the projector housing. I originally had mine clocked where the LED chips were facing the 6 &12 o'clock position up and down. It was blurry and not great light output. I then removed the LED bulb and clocked it to where the LED chips were facing the 3 & 9 o'clock position side to side. And what a difference! A much cleaner cutoff line and better light output. I am very pleased with these headlights now. If you have replaced the bulbs with LED's and aren't happy with the light output check the position of the LED chips.

These things are absolutely beautiful on my Tahoe, only problem is the adjustment knob, I removed and re-installed them 4 times but no matter how many times I put them in flush with the bolts, they still aim really low at max height with the adjusters. not, dangerously low, but much lower then I would feel comfortable with. Not sure if its a one time thing or not, but hey, they work fine and its more or less just a minor inconvenience in their lowered height then being dangerous.

I bought these headlights and they were good initially out of the packaging. Install was fine. Fitment I would say is 7/10. A year goes by after installing them, and the plastic begins to deteriorate on both headlights. Photos of the deteriorating lenses are part of this review. Also worth mentioning, the low beam adjustment maxed out vertically upward is still too low for my stock Tahoe, so visibility is 6/10. I contacted the company and after a few days of waiting, they told me that the only have a 90 day warranty and they recommend I use a headlight restoration kit from a local auto parts store to try to fix their headlight lenses. I do not recommend their products. Unfortunately, I have their tail lights as well, so I anticipate on those lenses ruining soon too. Save your money and get better quality than what this company offers.

What I like or dislike you ask? Well, 4/5 stars for value; only because the included bulbs are mediocre. For over 300 smackaroos, they could certainly buff the bulbs. Dislikes: The stock bulbs aren't the greatest so I ordered LEDs to replace them. H1(high) H7(low) 3157(DRL). They are "plug n play" EXCEPT the high beams; which had to be cut, stripped and soldered to the corresponding wires. This was inconvenient and time consuming so buyers beware. The overall installation took me 5+hrs mostly trial and error but would be about 2.5hrs if I had to do it again, though this isn't the headlamp's fault. But enough about the negative: These headlights are spectacular! The switchback function is clean and appealing to the eye. The pics I included can't even justify for what you'd see in person. They feel durable and well made but prob wouldn't take a bullet. A major concern for me was aftermarket LEDs fitting under the dust caps, they do. Even with integrated fans they house the bulbs entirely. More pics to come and will update. In conclusion, these lights (so far) exceed my expectations in performance and quality and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enhance their Tahoe, Suburban or Avalanche's appearance.

Had these for several years. But never seemed bright enough. Tried several different style bulbs from LED, HID and halogen. There is not enough adjustment for the beams. They point too low. Driver side always had moisture problems. Functionally was less than desirable especially for the price. They seem to hold up to the weather minus the moisture problem with the driver side.
