I bought these to install in my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 and installed them with Auxbeam LED bulbs. Certain aspects of this review could be directly correlated to the use of said bulbs and that is why I have included that information. Use of standard halogen bulbs could produce different results not found in my personal use of this product. This is my initial impressions of this product, and I will try to remember to update this review after some time has passed using these headlight assemblies. With that said, your mileage may vary, and use the information below to draw your own conclusions. UPDATE EDIT 1/2021: Headlight housings have held up very well, there is no hazing or yellowing of the lenses, and no cracks or breaks. I did switch back to halogen bulbs after being unable to properly adjust for the LEDs. This is a fault of the LED bulbs and not the housings. With halogen bulbs, I was able to get a clear cutoff line and aim the lights properly to allow for the most light on the road while also not blinding oncoming traffic. After over a year of use with these, I would still recommend them. Continue reading for my initial thoughts on these headlight housings when purchased and first installed in November 2019. First off, these were securely packaged, with a decently thick cardboard layer on top of the housings and a piece of solid foam underneath to hold them stable inside the box. The next thing I noticed was the materials and construction of the housings. These were definitely made of a much higher quality plastic than most other products of similar nature. Also, the design of the mounting bracket was slightly larger than other housings I’ve seen. This makes for a nice sturdy construction, but does affect ease of installation. I found that I had to loosen and drop the front bumper on my truck just a tad in order for the housings to slip into place, not a big deal but it did add en extra step to the whole process. The reflectors in these assemblies are quite good for a non-OEM unit. I did have some dark spots in the beam patterns but am unsure if that’s strictly because of the reflector design or my LED bulbs. I will have to fiddle with the adjustments to see if I can minimize or get rid of these dark spots all together. Overall beam alignment seems to favor the driver’s side and should be adjusted to the right, in my opinion. Fitment of these housings was good all around, bolt holes all lined up properly, and most importantly, the screw tab on the side marker assembly was nice and thick and can actually hold the lamp in place. Again, these are my initial thoughts of this product. This truck does see a lot of night time highway driving and rough dirt roads. I will try to do an update later and report my findings on how they hold up.

My initial first impressions are these lights have great fitment. They include new brackets for mounting, have excellent clarity and overall seem to be of quality. They definitely updated and improved the look of my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. For anyone trying to replace their headlights with these here are some tips: 1. There is a small Philips head screw under the corner light that holds the corner light in place. 2. There are 3 10mm screws that secure the housing to the vehicle. Two on the inner edge behind the grille and one under the corner marker light. 3. It is a tight fit getting the old light out and new one in if you are keeping the bumper in place and the vehicle has been previously damaged in the front. Installation was easy, and while these lights included new bulbs I opted to continue using my current bulbs that are only 2 months old and save these as spares. I have read that there can sometimes be moisture issues, but I will updated my review in a few months after I've had time to truly put them to work.

Bought these for my 98 cummins.. They look awesome, super easy to install and were very fairly priced. They were easy to install. The bulbs are a no name but just as bright as my Sylvania bulbs. I replaced with led bulbs which I would recommend. The light output still sucks but that is due to the design it has nothing to do with this product. The lines and gaps are just the same as the factory...

Bummer that Dodge had to cheap out so much on the oem headlights but these are a good replacement. The build quality seems good and the fit perfect. They line up and are nice and straight. The clear lens is nice because you can see inside to make sure the new led bulbs you just bought are going to be lined up properly. The only issue is that everyone says the leds have to be at 3 and 9 o'clock to have good pattern. I tried that and visually verified that they were in correctly but the pattern is not that great. That's why only 4 stars. I then moved them 90' to try a different setting and the pattern was no better. With the Fahren 9004 leds I bought they are plenty bright and throw a spot of light down the road pretty good. I was hoping for the line across the top and bright below but that is not the case. I will have to adjust these down a bit as they are a little high. I don't think anyone makes a led bulb that mimics the 9004 bulb. If you compare them side by side you will see that the filament is sideways compared to all of the led bulbs I have ever seen. I had to modify the locking rings to make the led lights work because the fan is to big and the wiring gets in the way...Just took off about 5/16ths of an inch and all is good. With that said they are a definite improvement over stock and worth buying. Lastly these lights are made in Taiwan.

Very good quality! I'm running these on a 1996 5.2 ram and they're great! They look just like the factory lights which I prefer and installing them was super easy. Had to loosen the bolts on my front bumper (stock bumper, 6 bolts in the middle on the frame and 1 on each side) and angle it down a bit so they would fit in easily but thats not very hard. All in all for the price you're getting your moneys worth in the quality and clarity of these. I'm still using the bulbs they sent and they aren't that bad either, but you throw a set of the high quality led bulbs in these and they'll be like driving in day time.

They fit decent. Alot brighter (dont reccommend the plain bulbs, pay extra an get better bulbs) over all they look good. Pain in the ass to install but thats because of how dodge does things. You dont need to drop the bumper as someone else said they had to. If youre on a budget, theyre great for the price. If not, then spend the extra money and get something more costly.

My ‘99 Dodge Ram was in need of some new headlights so I turned to Amazon and looked at a lot of sellers for this product. I finally settled on this vendor because of its high customer rating for value and quality of it’s product. There were no installation instructions but you tube provided great videos. It didn’t take a long time to remove the old lights and install a new pair of crystal clear new ones. Everything worked like clockwork. One word of caution however, the installation works best when you remove the upper bumper cover.
