The reason was that I was tired of having to figure out which grey/black/blue suitcase was mine on the baggage carousel. You, me, and everybody’s cousin has the same set from Costco because it was a great deal. So I decided that I would get something that would stand out and be easy to find. I purchased a large suitcase for my 19 year old and the small bonus suitcase was perfect for my six-year-old. We’ve gotten multiple trips and the suitcases have held up really well. They are super well-made and don’t seem like some of the other off name luggage pieces I’ve seen on Amazon. The bigger one has wheels that rotate 360, but the smaller one is fixed, so this makes it a little harder in the airport, but they both fit overhead storage perfectly and were easy to spot when time to leave the plane.

Just got these, so I dont really have a 'usage review", but the size thing is really wierd.. These are listed as 18" and 20" tall in the description.. but that is not really the case.. as soon as i took them out I noticed they are more like 4 inches difference, not 2.. (see image) so I got out the tape measure.. Big suitcase is just over 21" tall (21.50 if you include the little handle on top). this means it just fits into the "carry on" size of 22" that most airlines use. Small suitcase is 16.5 tall (17 if you include the little handle on top).. this means it may fit as an "under seat" personal bag on some airlines.. Honestly the large bag is a good carry on size.. the small one is really small (maybe an overnight bag), and doesnt really hold much more than a good size school backpack would.. but might be good to have if you just need a little space.. ... show more

For the size you get, they are WAY too over priced. I grabbed these for my Star Wars loving son before our trip to Disney, and was extremely disappointed in the size. My son obviously instantly became obsessed with them so I kept them. They do seem well made and survived the trip without any issues, just wish you didn’t need to take a second mortgage out to buy them! 😅 ... show more
