Get it! This lamp is so easy to assemble! It's sturdy and with a 60 watt bulb...it's nice and bright! The button on the floor cord makes it easy to turn on/off. Mine lamp is behind a chair and therefore, I need to go behind the chair to turn it on ...but, that's ok! I spent (too much) time trying to research an affordable floor lamp and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I loved how easy the assembly was. The lamp is extremely sturdy and I loved the material of the shade. Easy cleaning and dusting. The reason for purchase was for our loft as we needed one that wouldn’t take up too much room but lights up very well.

We needed a "not the big light" for our kid's room. This lamp was cheaper than buying a new lamp shade for an old lamp we had, so thought I'd try it. The lamp was super easy to assemble. The lamp shade was fairly thick and snapped into place easily. The base is fairly heavy which is nice and keeps the lamp from tipping over. The foot button to turn it on/off is handy, too. Overall, it's a good sturdy lamp for cheap.

I bought this for my son's room and he really likes it. It is surprisingly sturdy and the switch works well. It looks like a foot switch but I have never seen one before and since it didn't mention it in the instructions, I thought it must just be a hand switch. At any rate it is a nice crisp feeling switch. I have never seen a shade assembled like this one. However, it really does hold together and gives off a lot of light. I put an LED 100 watt equivalent bulb in but I'm sure you could go brighter since the socket is rated for 60 watts. I don't know what the socket is made of but it doesn't feel hot even though the base of the LED does get hot. All in all a very nice simple lamp and I would recommend it.

I got this lamp for my first apartment on may 2022, and its traveled with me to a new apartment as well. It's a simple cheap lamp and I enjoyed the convenience of the step switch, but its not very bright and can easily topple over if it gets the lightest of touch and isnt weighted by anything. Probably is better suited for hard floors rather than carpet but I've had to make do. As of this year, since around june 2023, I've noticed that its started to flicker and shock/zap whenever I turn it on. I believe there is something wrong with the wiring, as the consistent use mightve worn down the switch. I am concerned of it causing a fire so I've since had to stop using it :(( (the zapping/electrical noises would come from the switch itself and the plug it was connected to.) So I am sad to say that I will be looking for a different lamp a year and a half after buying it. tldr, its a nice lamp for the short term, like for a dorm or a temporary living situation, but if you're planning on using something consistent and long term, you're better off getting something else. ://
