The curtain looks much richer than the price would lead you to believe, with subtle vertical stripes that look like they're part of the fabric, rather than part of the design. The curtain is supposed to be soap, mildew, and water resistant, but I've not had a chance to test it to see, as I'm using it with a liner, so it shouldn't get exposed to soap or water. The curtain rings it comes with are plastic and cheap-looking. As to the colors, the white background is perfect to make any small bathroom appear larger. And you just can't go wrong when choosing towels and bathmats, etc., because of the leaves and branches of the tree. Practically all colors are represented on this curtain. (Just to let you know, pure Red is the only color I couldn't locate, although I found shades of it. Also not present is Black). There seems to be an even mix of warm and cool tones - I LOVE this shower curtain and all the possibilities it's giving me, decorating-wise! For those unsure about choosing colors, for only a few dollars Amazon has several different styles of Color Wheels that can help you choose an assortment of color schemes. They're very useful in anything from Interior Design to Jewelry-making. The Rainbow Color Wheel Dritz Quilting Rainbow Color Wheel Selector is very helpful. Not only does it indicate a variety of color schemes, once you choose your main color, but it also comes with an extremely useful booklet that explains the basics of colors and how the different types of color matching work. It's super-easy to use, and in no time you'll be able to create your dream bathroom. I should point out one discrepancy between the picture and the shower curtain I received. In the photo, there are 13 hooks, but the curtain I received only had 12 holes. I would have preferred it had had 13, to cover the full length of the shower, but considering how much it brightens my bathroom, it's something I can live with.

Update 11.30.17 It's now November and this shower curtain is still amazing! I love it so much and it has lasted really well. I wish they made towels like it because I'd buy them in a heartbeat!! The Four Seasons in my bathroom! I literally just got this shower curtain (okay, 20 minutes ago) and put it up in my mother's (now kind of mine) bathroom. It offers a beautiful bright spot in the bathroom that is much needed. I moved in with my mother about 2 weeks ago to help her with her mid stage dementia and it's been a bit rough. I am trying to brighten up the place without displacing her (dementia can make any changes scary for the person experiencing this slow disease). Not only did she loved it, it helped improve her mood which I am grateful for! So what if the walls in the bathroom are faded flowers from the 1990's? This curtain rocks the bathroom and I could not be happier for the price, creativity and color! I highly recommend this shower curtain! Thank you Amazon and thank you to the original company who provided this great curtain! P.S. I kept the original liner on behind it, you may not need it but I prefer to not use this shower curtain as my liner but rather as decorative - but it is water resistant, did NOT smell at all like plastic and light weight/easy to put up!

Great print quality. I thought these Cherry blossoms would be a softer pink. It’s still pretty but not as relaxing as I was hoping for. The hanger holes are a little small for my ball-tipped hooks but I can smash them on.

I had been using a liner only for over a year looking for a shower curtain which would coordinate with the bold colors in the wall paint and the Tara Yamamoto print in my second bath, which is the one my guests use. This curtain was perfect for my application. Colors were true to the advertisement. Quality of the curtain was good, but there were no metal grommets, only reinforced slits in the curtain for hanging, and the shower rings provided were a cheap plastic, but I did not plan to use them anyway. All in all, a good product for a good value.
